'Jonas' Season Two Breaks New Ground For The Jonas Brothers

The Jonas Brothers are back for a second season of their Disney Channel series, self-titled Jonas. Fans are going to get to see a whole new side of Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas as the second season takes them in different directions.
“We take a trip, we go away from home, we go to Los Angeles for the summer and spend it the three guys in a house in L.A. and really take on everything L.A. has to offer,” Kevin Jonas said. “It’s the first time Disney’s ever done a continuous storyline show. It’s going to be an amazing thing to see and hopefully the fans will be able to connect with it and I think our fans, where they are now, will definitely be able to relate with our characters and everything that they’re going through.”
The show is only part of the Jonas Brothers empire, which includes movies, albums and charity. First and foremost, however, the Jonas Brothers remain musicians.
“I think we came into this having a life plan which was we are a band first,” Kevin said. “No matter what we do on the side or we want to divert, we always want to come back to being a brother band. Just staying true to who The Jonas Brothers are but really for us, it’s exciting that we can be and do so many different things, like our new television show, Camp Rock 2… There are so many different things that are happening and it’s going to be really nice.”
Jonas returns June 20 on Disney Channel.

Ryan and Nathan Interview the Jonas Brothers

Ryan and Nathan interviewed the Jonas Brothers this morning for Kid Pitch. They talked about baseball, softball (the Jonas Brothers have a team called the Road Dogs), and who's the best video game player in the Jonas family.
Kid Pitch also gave Kevin, Nick, and Joe special softball gloves from Rawlings with their names on it, which the Jonas Brothers loved.
Keep watching Kid Pitch to see our interview with the Jonas Brothers.

Sneak Peek of Nick Jonas on I Get That A Lot

Hmmm, That Guy Looks 'A Lot' Like Nick Jonas!

It's not every day that you're shopping at Forever 21 and the sales clerk who's helping you out is none other than Nick Jonas! We've got a sneak peek at Nick's undercover assignment on "I Get That A Lot," airing tonight on CBS!
"It's a really funny show," says Nick.
The one-hour special, airing at 8 p.m. ET/PT, features a variety of celebrities pulling pranks on everyday people. The Jonas Brothers star poses as an average Joe working at the girls' clothing shop, only to find that it's not so easy to be anonymous.
"I had to try to convince people that it wasn't me if they recognized me," Nick tells ET. "It was really tough to get people to believe it wasn't me, but I had fun doing it."
Other stars who "get that a lot" include TV host/lifestyle expert Martha Stewart as a craft store employee; game-show host Wayne Brady working behind the front desk at a nice hotel; style icon Tim Gunn behind the counter at a fast food joint; country superstar Wynonna Judd selling tires; and sitcom star Jay Mohr as a coffee house barista.

Obama , Nick Jonas Team UP For Health

Malia and Sasha Obama may have been jealous of their mom on Monday. The first lady spent time with one of the girls' favorite musicians: Nick Jonas.

The youngest Jonas Brother came to Washington to film a special program for the Disney Channel with Michelle Obama about living a healthy lifestyle. The White House tells POLITICO that Obama is working with Disney on a few projects as part of the Let's Move! Initiative "to carry the message of healthy living to young people and their families." More details on these projects will be released this summer.

Jonas, who is diabetic, has traveled to Washington several times in the past year to talk about juvenile diabetes. During those visits, he's discussed how eating healthy and exercising have helped him manage his disease.

The Jonas Brothers are not only winning over the record charts and tween girls' hearts. Nick Jonas is also winning his ongoing battle with diabetes. The trio of brothers performed at a fundraiser for Children's Hospital Los Angeles on Sunday and ET sat down with them to find out the latest on his health and what the band has in store for the near future.
Thankful to be in "some of the best health I've ever been in," Nick said, "I think when you're doing something that's obviously very close to your heart there is a special connection with it and some of the song's we'll be singing tonight brings us back to moments where diabetes played a role in the songwriting."
With his little brother's health "under control," Kevin doesn't hesitate to keep their schedule jam-packed with music, touring, and TV commitments. The multi-faceted entertainers manage to find some spare time to play softball and golf as well.
As if playing to a bevy of screaming girls and being plastered on posters and calendars and lunchboxes isn't enough, these over-achieving brothers have even farther reaching dreams in mind. Unabashed to admit it, Nick said, "I'd like to become a professional baseball player, along with becoming the president." Kevin wants to one day saddle up for the rodeo.

'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam' -- 2010 New Soundtrack Preview

This summer, the gang from 2008's 'Camp Rock' movie are back for a brand new Disney sequel -- and a brand new soundtrack. 'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam' first got underway back in September, and should be hitting the Disney Channel on Sept. 3.

As for the soundtrack,
MTV reports that it should be hitting shelves on June 27. So far, it looks like the same group of usual suspects will be back on board to try to rekindle the studio magic they found with the 2008 'Camp Rock' soundtrack, which featured the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and Renee Sandstrom, among others.

While you'll still have to wait a little bit longer to hear many of the songs on the 'Camp Rock 2' soundtrack, the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato recently released a
music video for their single 'It's On,' which will reportedly be featured on the new soundtrack. The Disney Channel has also revealed some of the behind the scenes action by interviewing some of the film's stars in a series titled 'Road to Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.'

Alyson Stoner, in a preview video on 'Camp Rock 2''s
website, divides the entire recording process into four steps. "You get the song," she explains. "You practice, you show up at the studio, and you rock it out." She adds, "I have to admit, rocking it out is probably my favorite part."

Joe Jonas, who plays Shane in the new 2010 film, says "It's nice to be back," with the rest of the gang, while brother Kevin says "We can sing a song, and never see each other. And then we see it on the screen, and it's pretty cool." Check out the official website for more behind-the-scenes footage, and more information as we inch our way closer to this summer's 'Final Jam.' And although it has yet to be officially confirmed, below is the rumored track list for the upcoming new soundtrack.

With three albums that reached the top five of the Billboard 200 chart and nearly 1.7 million Twitter followers of @Jonasbrothers, the Jonas Brothers really need no introduction. We know there are millions of diehard fans out there wondering all kinds of things about them, so we're hosting a video Q&A on Tuesday, May 18 at 5pm EST sharp, which will feature the Jonases answering your burning questions. Ask what you want to know by tweeting your questions to @billboarddotcom using hashtag #bblivechat. Bookmark this page; the Livestreamed video chat will appear right here.

Don't be shy with your questions. Tweet questions early, tweet questions often. The Jonas Brothers have a ton going on. They just announced a world tour that'll hit three continents this year. The trek, which features Demi Lovato as the opening act, will find the guys playing their own massively popular tunes as well as tracks from "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," which premieres on the Disney Channel on Sept. 3. ''We've had the opportunity to go and do things, dreams of ours that we've been able to fulfill," Nick Jonas told Billboard recently on camera. "I think that this time has drawn us closer as brothers, made us stronger, and we're looking forward to another great year." Indeed. Below, check out our video from last month, when we caught up with the Jonas Brothers talking about the tour, charity efforts, and more
