KEVIN, JOE AND NICK SET OUT FOR A SUMMER OF FUN IN THE CITY OF ANGELS WITH THE SEASON PREMIERE OF "JONAS L.A.," SUNDAY, JUNE 20 ON DISNEY CHANNEL
New Jonas Brothers music, a new So-Cal setting and a new serialized comedy format mark Season Two of the Teen Choice Award-winning series "JONAS," newly named "JONAS L.A.," premiering SUNDAY, JUNE 20 (8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. It stars pop culture superstars Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas, Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson. The Jonas Brothers also star in the short-form series "Jonas Brothers Living the Dream 2," which gives viewers unprecedented access to their lives on stage and off during their European tour, and in the contemporary movie musical, "Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam," premiering Friday, September 3 on Disney Channel.
For its first season, "JONAS" was TV's #1 program among Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14, and was cable's #1 program in Total Viewers (3.4 million) in its Sunday time period. For 2009, it was in cable's Top 10 programs among Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14.
The "JONAS L.A." episodes showcase music performances and fuse clever comedy with an authentic portrayal of a band of brothers navigating new waters. Recurring guest stars include Debi Mazar, Adam Hicks, Abby Pivaronas and Beth Crosby and fan favorites Rob Feggans and Frankie Jonas.
For Season Two, the production has gone stage-less and is produced entirely on location around Los Angeles. New executive producers Lester Lewis (Emmy winner, "The Office") and Paul Hoen ("Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam") have joined in on the fun, as "JONAS L.A." takes each of the three brothers in different directions and brings them back together for a chorus of fun.
The all-new 13-song soundtrack includes "L.A. Baby (Where Dreams Are Made Of)," "Chillin' in the Summertime" and "Your Biggest Fan."
The second season of fun delves into individual storylines as Kevin, Joe and Nick - and their security chief, Big Man - are fresh off their world concert tour and ready for a summer vacation in a rental house high atop the Hollywood Hills. As they begin their left coast adventure, two familiar faces, Stella and Macy, join them and wind up sharing a nearby guesthouse with Stella's aunt Lisa. Now, the five friends take off on a summer of fun, especially after they meet their gregarious neighbor, DZ.
Despite months of anticipation, Joe and Stella encounter detours on the road to "Joella," mainly since he's met free-spirited actress Vanessa Page, who's helping him pursue his acting ambition. After auditioning in a room filled with "Joes," he lands a role in Vanessa's new movie, and their mercurial working relationship quickly spurs rumors of "Jonessa." While on the movie set, Kevin gets his long sought chance to learn film directing, and manages to steer around the abrasive manner of his mentor, famed director Mona Klein. Meanwhile, Nick writes new songs for the band and is pleasantly surprised by his growing friendship with Macy, which makes him want to prove he's more than just a world famous rock star.
"JONAS L.A." stars Kevin Jonas as Kevin Lucas, Joe Jonas as Joe Lucas, Nick Jonas as Nick Lucas, Chelsea Staub (Disney Channel's "StarStuck") as Stella Malone and Nicole Anderson (ABC Family's "Make It or Break It") as Macy Misa. Recurring guest stars are Debi Mazar ("Entourage") as Mona Klein, Adam Hicks (of Disney XD's "Zeke and Luther") as DZ, Abby Pivaronas ("Lincoln Heights") as Vanessa Page, Rob Feggans as Big Man, Frankie Jonas as Frankie Lucas, and Beth Crosby ("All My Children") as Aunt Lisa.
"JONAS L.A." is executive-produced by Lester Lewis and Paul Hoen. The series was created by Roger S.H. Schulman and Michael Curtis. The series is an It's A Laugh Production in association with Disney Channel. It carries a TV-G parental guideline.

Nick's Blog

I have had a busy month! Easter Sunday my brothers and I performed at Angel Stadium. April 16th was a Jonas Brothers takeover of Radio Disney, on the 17th I went and supported Joe and Demi at the premiere of Disney's OCEAN. Joe and Demi did a duet on the soundtrack called "Make a Wave".
On the 18th my family and I flew to NYC for the TJ Martell Foundation Family Day. My brothers and I along with our management were honored by the foundation. At the event we performed along with other artists Ana Maria, One Call, and Honor Society. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the cause. The TJ Martell Foundation is doing amazing things to help find the cure for Cancer and we were glad to be a part of it.
This whole month the production continues on JONAS. I can't wait for you guys to see the new season.
My Simple Win this month is monitoring my highs and lows so I feel good and can be where I need to be, when I need to be there.

Joe Jonas: 'We're not pedophiles' on Obama's quip
Obama's writers may have thought their quip about the Jonas Brothers during the White House Correspondents' Association dinner was a nod to the boy band and their star power, but the brothers saw it as a jab.
Nick and Joe Jonas were spotted sulking in the corner at the Bloomberg/Vanity Fair after-party when Yeas & Nays asked what they thought of the joke.
"We're not that old," Nick Jonas told Yeas.
"Seriously, we're not pedophiles," Joe jumped in.
Joe Jonas' girlfriend, Demi Lovato, seemed indignant as well. She said "who's that?" when Yeas & Nays mentioned John Edwards and followed it up with a "What's politics?"
The Jonas crew was huffing over a joke the president made during his speech at the dinner.
"The Jonas Brothers are here ... Sasha and Malia are huge fans," the president started. "But, boys, don't get any ideas, I have two words for you -- predator drones," he said.
Obama quickly turned his attention away from the Jonas Brothers. "Speaking of tween heartthrobs, Scott Brown is here," the president joked.
He picked on everyone from his staffers to Jay Leno, who headlined the event. "I am glad that the only person whose ratings fell more than mine last year is here tonight -- great to see you, Jay," Obama said. "I'm also glad that I'm speaking first, because we've all seen what happens when somebody takes the time slot after Leno's."

Jonas Brothers liven up White House Correspondents Dinner
The White House Correspondents Association dinner, an annual convergence of policymakers, Hollywood A-listers and the journalists who cover them both, was held at the Washington Hilton in Washington D.C Saturday (May 1).
Nearly 3,000 famous and powerful people ate something called wheatberry terrine and roasted halibut, before being entertained by "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno and President Obama, who is no slouch in the joke department.
Onstage, Obama snapped Leno as "the only person whose ratings fell more than mine," adding that he was glad to talk before Jay: "we've all seen what happens when you take the time slot after Leno."
But the interesting aspect of the event, known on the Web as the ultimate Nerd Prom, is the unlikely couples you see: Star-struck politicians and policymakers mingling with power-blinded entertainers and celebrities.
This year's event drew a cross section of celebs, from The Jonas Brothers (Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato held hands all night, we hear), teen heartthrob Justin Bieber (who was staying up way past his bedtime) mingled with CIA director Leon Panetta before posing with reality TV/sex tape star Kim Kardashian, who also rubbed elbows with TV political host Chris Matthews. Hollywood heavyweights Michel Douglas and Steven Spielberg were seen chatting with White House aide Rahm Emmanuel. What did they talk about? That's what we want to know.
Other guests included Ashton Kutcher (remember -- he's one of Time's 100 Most Influential People of 2010 for some inexplicable reason) and his wife Demi Moore, Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn, Betty White, "30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin, comedian Chevy Chase, comedian Bill Maher, actress Michelle Pfeiffer, actor Dennis Quaid, "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest, "Iron Man 2" action babe Scarlett Johansson, former Secretary of State Colin Powell, GOP Chairman Michael Steele, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and White House senior adviser David Axelrod.
