EXCLUSIVE: Kevin & Danielle Jonas Find Puppy Love with Riley

Kevin Jonas is used to going everywhere with younger brothers Nick and Joe. But now, the 22-year-old singer has two, well, cuter sidekicks: his wife of six months, Danielle, and their Morkie, Riley.

Married in December, the pair picked up Riley just weeks after their Mexican honeymoon. "We were going to wait until the middle of January to get her," Kevin tells PEOPLE. "But [Danielle] looked at me and I knew she couldn't wait."

Luckily for the couple, Riley is everything they hoped she'd be. "She's a good dog," Danielle says. "She's quiet when she has to be quiet." But not too quiet! "She likes to play a lot," adds Kevin. "She loves when people are over. She's like, 'Oh, new friends!' I think we might have to get another puppy for her."

At the moment, Riley is content with her two human playmates — in fact, she even shares their bed. "She usually sleeps with us, between our two heads," Kevin says. "But she's starting to sleep at the foot of the bed, which is a little bit easier." She also has her own "play zone" in the couple's sprawling Texas home.

But life won't be quite as lavish for Riley when she embarks on the Jonas Brothers' North American tour, which kicks off in Dallas on July 27. Whereas Kevin used to share a tour bus with his mom, dad and three brothers (youngest JoBro Frankie is 9), this time he'll likely bunk in a separate bus with Danielle and Riley. "We have our own little family now," he says. "It'll be a blast."

For more on Kevin, Danielle and Riley, check out the June 7 issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands now.

On May 16th, we performed for more than 200 guests at Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman's home for "Rock for Diabetes". It is a fundraiser for the Center for Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. This is the second year that we have done this and were honored to be part of it again. All the guests received one of my dog tags to show their continued support of Diabetes. If you don't have your dog tag yet be sure to get one at NicksSimpleWins.com.
Our tour dates were announced this month and to kick it off we performed on Good Morning America last Friday. I can't wait to see all of you again this summer.

Jonas Brothers star Nick to make West End debut in Les Miserables

Pop heart-throb Nick Jonas arrives in London soon to prepare for his West End theatre debut, playing the role of Marius in Les Miserables.
I can reveal that Nick, 17, will perform the part of student Marius at the Queen's Theatre for a three week run from June 21.
It's not the first time the singer has been associated with the blockbuster musical, which is now in its 25th year. He played the part of Gavroche in the last nine months of Les Miserable's run on Broadway in 2003.
Cameron Mackintosh told me yesterday: 'I went up to him at the closing night party in New York and told him he was terrific and hoped that one day he would return to play Marius. We've been in touch a lot and, of course, since then he has become this world-famous star.
'He and his father and I agreed that it would be great if he came and played Marius here in London.'
The singer broke off from a concert tour with his brothers Joe and Kevin to conclude the deal with Mackintosh. 'He has bent over backwards to fit it all into his schedule,' Mackintosh said of the youngest Jonas brother.
Nick has been rehearsing the music in the U.S. but will begin three weeks of full rehearsals with other new special cast members in London in the next few days before giving his first performance at the Queen's.
In October, Nick will be part of a huge, star- studded company being assembled to perform a 25th anniversary concert at the o2 Centre in Greenwich, South-East London.
Details of casting - and ticket information about the o2 production - will be announced on Wednesday morning.

Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam

Rockin' the Sequel

In 'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam' we'll follow Mitchie, Shane, Jason, Nate and their friends as they return to Camp Rock for another great summer of music and fun. However they soon learn that a new state-of-the-art music/performance camp, Camp Star, has opened across the lake and has lured away many of Camp Rock instructors and campers -- putting the future of Camp Rock in jeopardy. And when Camp Star's hotshot performer, Luke Williams, challenges Camp Rock to a musical showdown to see which camp really has the stronger musical talent, everyone prepares for the ultimate battle of the bands. Meanwhile, in a classic "Romeo and Juliet" twist, Nate falls for the daughter of the owner of the rival camp.

Returning are Demi Lovato as Mitchie Torres; Joe Jonas as Shane Gray; Kevin Jonas as Jason; Nick Jonas as Nate; Meaghan Martin as Tess Tyler; Alyson Stoner as Caitlyn Geller; Anna Maria Perez de Tagle as Ella; Roshon Fegan as Sander; Daniel Fathers as Brown; and Maria Canals-Barrera as Connie Torres.

Nick Jonas Heads for London Stage

The 17-year-old announces he's headed to London for a role in the long-running musical "Les Miserables." Get the details!

Nick In Les Miserables Once Again

I am so excited to announce that I will be performing in Les Miserables once again! The amazing Cameron Macintosh reached out to me last year about portraying the role of Marius in London at the West End. When I was ten years old I was in Les Miserables as Gavroche. On my closing night in 2003 I told my parents that I would come back to be Marius one day. It is truly a dream come true. More details will be coming soon. Can't wait to see the fans who make it out to the show! Love you all. Special thanks to Cameron for this amazing opportunity. "I Dreamed a Dream" and they seem to be coming true.

P.S. To all of you who figured out the riddle... Well done.

Thanx Lexi

Kevin Jonas featured on this week issue

Kevin Jonas married his wife, Danielle, five months ago and talks to People this week about the newlywed life. Kevin says, “It’s great being with your best friend all the time.” And Danielle agrees, “It’s so nice being with the one you know you’re supposed to be with.” They’ve settled in a North Texas ranch house with floor-to-ceiling windows and a gourmet kitchen. Kevin says his younger brothers make fun of him in between taping their TV show. Kevin says, “Nick and Joe were like, ‘Going on your lunch break to pick up a prescription, that’s so married of you!’” Joe says that Kevin “loves telling people he’s married. He’ll always try to work it into the conversation.” While the Jonas Brothers prepare for a 46-city tour, Kevin and Danielle get ready to move their love nest to the tour bus.

Jonas Brothers Back to Camp, Back on the Road

Another summer, another Jonas Brothers concert. For those who TiVo the Family Channel – or anyone with a sweet tooth for indomitably cheery pop-rock – the announcement of a JoBros North American tour has become as reliable as presents on Christmas. And this year is no different, with the boy band – now a little older, one even married – beginning their three-month trek July 27 in Dallas, TX, and eventually reaching Canadian cities Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver in the fall (tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, May 28; check below for dates).
With the passing years, fans have come to expect something from a Jonas Brothers concert apart from mild tinnitus: pure spectacle. Not content to merely play the hits and look pretty, past concerts have seen the Jonas Brothers tap dance, shoot water and (in an infamous, South Park-referenced instance) foam into the audience and execute aerial back flips. (“Because we all kind of have a background in gymnastics,” band member Nick Jonas says of that last stunt.)
Is there a stunt that would be too much? Apparently not. “It’s what we wanted to do, actually,” Nick, 17, says, responding to the above question from Dose.ca while on a conference call with reporters. “We have a couple of crazy ideas, and we’re always willing to put ourselves in life threatening situations. But, it’s the insurance company and some of the people surrounding us that don’t let us do it.”

Jonas Brothers - Growing Up and Getting Out This Summer

Jonas Brothers - Growing Up and Getting Out This Summer.

When "Jonas L.A." launches June 20, fans will see that the Disney Channel series has matured -- along with the superstar trio of brothers who give the show its name.  "I think the evolution of who we are, growing up in general, is really cool," says 22-year-old Kevin, who married wife Danielle last December.

"It really adds to our characters, and people can relate to it because they see our regular lives. Trying to keep us the same -- still being in high school -- wouldn't have worked," he notes, referring to their TV counterparts.

Nick, 17, who went out on a tour of his own last year with his The Administration band, adds that he and his brothers "looked at all the things we had coming up individually and as a group, and took the time to make sure our focus was still there and drive was still there" when it came to a second season of "Jonas."

They're pleased enough with the results that when asked whether they might even go on to a Season 3, Joe, 20, who famously dated Demi Lovato, answers, "We might. We don't know yet. It depends on how the second season goes, I guess."

We meet with the Jonases in their suite atop the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood, escorted in by none other than famous bodyguard Big Rob. There's a panoramic view of Los Angeles on one end of the suite's vast living room, and giant-screen monitors on the other. As we arrive, the brothers look like they're having a blast playing NBA basketball with 11-year-old Disney Channel/Xbox 360 sweepstakes winner Gavin Liddell -- and treating him, his mom, dad and little sister like esteemed guests.

The brothers make an entrance by helicopter on the rooftop of this very hotel in "Jonas L.A.," they let us know. Everything's been kicked up a few notches. "It's pretty amazing. It's taken on a life of its own," says Kevin.

Joe notes that seeing the first episodes all put together "was really exciting."

Their whole summer looks to be really exciting as well. With their "L.A. Baby" lead-off single from their forthcoming album out, they have their three-continent summer tour launching in July (with Lovato and other "Camp Rock" talent on the bill) -- all part of the ramp up to their highly-anticipated "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" debuting Sept. 3 on the Disney Channel.

"We are really excited about the tour," says Nick, "looking forward to getting out there and starting up again. We love touring, and when we're out on the road, it just feels like home."

"Whenever we go off and do individual projects or acting individually, I think it's important to focus on the fact we are still a band, and that comes first," Kevin adds, "and we always come back to this. We really want to pursue this as the main focus, and that's really nice."

KEVIN JONAS STILL HUNGRY

Kevin Jonas and his fellow Jonas Brothers mates have been to the top of the showbiz mountain, and this year the band will continue their success with the second season premiere of their Disney Channel series Jonas L.A. (previously titled JONAS) and the upcoming TV movie Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. Jonas, the only married guy among the bunch, says the journey isnt over for them, as he believes begun.

Joe Jonas & Demi Lovato: We're Still Friends

They're no longer a couple, but Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato say they'll remain close.

"Demi and I knew going into our romantic relationship that it may not be an easy one," Jonas, 20, tells PEOPLE. "I realize over the time we have shared together that I feel I care more about our friendship right now. It was my choice to break up but I love her as a friend. She's been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her."

Lovato, 17, took to Twitter to shoot down what she labeled erroneous reports.

"There are so many crazy rumors flying around today," she writes. "I'd like to clear a few things up. First, Joe and I did split but it wasn't over the phone. Things didn't work out but we'll remain friends. Secondly, I am NOT dating anybody already. Nothing is more important to me than the relationship I have with my fans. Just thought you guys should know this."

The pair, who first met on the set of Camp Rock in 2007 and went public with their relationship in March, will still tour together, starting July 27 in Dallas.

Joe Jonas goes to girlfriend Demi Lovato's tapings of 'Sonny With a Chance'

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato, set to embark on another tour together with his group the Jonas Brothers, are so smitten with one another that the singer visits his girlfriend on the set of her Disney Channel series Sonny With a Chance.
"I go to the tapings sometimes. It's fun to watch in person and kind of totally have a new respect for what she does," Jonas said, citing her ability to act in front of a studio audience.
"Occasionally I'll actually walk onto the set and just be a part of the show," the 20-year-old said. "She's cool with it. It's been awesome and it's going to be really cool to go on summer tour again."
Lovato, 17, said her relationship with Joe, is "pretty good. He's pretty awesome. He's my best friend."
The two made their comments in separate interviews carried out by On The Red Carpet's Chris Balish during a recent press tour for ABC-Disney, the parent company of On The Red Carpet the TV show and Web site OnTheRedCarpet.com.
"It's no secret that the Jonas Brothers and I will always make music together, whether it's just writing together or performing on stage or recording - we have many duets together now," Lovato said. "There will definitely be some interaction on stage."
The Jonas Brothers' summer tour is set to begin on June 27 in Dallas, Texas. Lovato also performed with the group in 2008.
She confirmed in March she and Jonas were dating. The two met while filming the Disney Channel movie Camp Rock in 2007. A sequel called Camp Rock: The Final Jam is set to be released on Sept. 3.

Jonas Brothers talk summer tour, praise Twitter as a way to stay in touch with fans

The Jonas Brothers, set to embark on a summer tour with Joe Jonas's girlfriend and singer Demi Lovato, touted Twitter as a great way to keep in touch with fans, some of whom are even interested in what the singers had to eat.
"We're trying to update our fans, said Joe, 20. "It's exciting for us. It's interesting the fact that on Twitter, fans are interested if you're eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich."
The Jonas Brothers made their comments to On the Red Carpet's Chris Balish during a recent press tour for for ABC-Disney, the parent company of On The Red Carpet the TV show and Web site OnTheRedCarpet.com.

Jonas Brothers & Demi Lovato GMA Performance

Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato Kick Off 'GMA' Summer Concert Series

Few things that can get hundreds of people to get up just after sunrise, file into Central Park in New York City and scream their hearts out, except the Jonas Brothers performing with Demi Lovato.

Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas perform one of their fans' favorite songs. That was the scene this morning as "Good Morning America" kicked off its Summer Concert Series with two of the hottest acts in the business.Just after they finished taping their next hit movie, "Camp Rock 2," the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato kicked off their own summer tours with the "GMA" performance.

It’s good to be a Jonas

When you’re as famous as the Jonas Brothers, your professional life tends to bleed into your personal life.
That’s just fine with the stars of Disney Channel’s “Jonas LA” (premiering June 20), who’ve used their fame to help them do things that guys their age could only dream of — like watch a baseball game from their favorite team’s box seats.
Middle brother Joe Jonas (right), 20, gleefully recounts attending a Yankees game earlier this week, with tickets from first baseman Mark Teixeira. “We’re big Yankees fans and the fact that we were able to go there and be sitting in his box seats was awesome,” he says.
Victoria WIll/New York Post
Jonas Brothers

Thanks to their fame, the boys have also gotten to meet presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama and spent quality time with Paul McCartney and U2’s Bono. Joe, who loves to cook, has even managed to swing a few cooking lessons from “Top Chef Masters” star (and friend) Tim Love.
“We’ve always been interested in pop culture and supporting sports teams . . . so it’s cool to see that we can take that part of our lives up a step now,” says eldest brother Kevin (left), 22.
Meanwhile, youngest brother Nick (center) is laser-focused on another gig. “I want to go onto ‘Celebrity Apprentice,’” the 17-year-old says. “That whole business-minded job, I think I can do that. I’m putting in my application right now.”

Kevin Jonas Reveals His Pole-Vaulting Past On 'When I Was 17'

'People laughed at me for a while about that one,' the pop star says of his track days.

These days, Kevin Jonas makes a living as a pop star along with his superstar brothers, Joe and Nick. But there was a time when Kevin had to mow lawns for pocket money and, back in his after-school days, Kevin was a member of the track team. Yes, Kevin Jonas used to be a jock.
"When I was 17, my favorite sport was pole vaulting," Kevin recalled in this week's episode of MTV's "When I Was 17," which also features stories from Katharine McPhee and Bret Michaels. "Freshman year of high school, my history teacher actually asked me. He's like, 'You're going to join the track team. You should be a pole vaulter.' "
After some skepticism about doing it and initially being confused by what was expected of him as a pole vaulter, Kevin quickly changed his mind. "I was like, 'Oh, OK. Whatever.' And then I realized what pole vaulting was," he remembered. "And I was like, 'Yes! Please!' "
In the episode, Kevin's uncle Josh shared just how much Kevin enjoyed the sport. "He loved it — he loved the challenge, always tried to go higher, the extra next level."
Now, Kevin spends his time at "Camp Rock," but back in the day at high school in New Jersey, it was all about Camp Track. "Pole vaulting was my passion. I even went to a pole-vaulting camp, yeah," he said. "People laughed at me for a while about that one, but it was cool."

When I Was 17" — this week featuring Kevin Jonas, Bret Michaels and Katharine McPhee — airs Saturday at 11 a.m. on MTV.

Kevin Jonas Used To Be A Duct Tape Wallet Designer

Apparently when Kevin Jonas was 17, he used to be on the track team and he used to mow lawns. But Kevin also had other interests. In fact, there was one interest in particular that veered very far away from his love of pole-vaulting.
"I was a total nerd and I thought skateboarding..." he started to tell MTV News before Nick chimed in with, "Yeah he was [a nerd]."
And then Joe revealed, "He was making duct tape wallets and selling them." It's a sticking point that made Kevin feel like he needed to defend his efforts. "I was an entrepreneur," he explained.
But was he successful? Nick said, "He spent more money on the duct tape then he made on the wallets."
Poor Kevin! All he wanted was a creative outlet for himself, so he asked his brothers, "I wonder what people said to like Tom Ford at 17 when he was making clothes and stuff?"
Joe quipped, "They probably said, 'Wow that's really awesome. I want to wear it.'" Still, though Joe showed his support: "I wore your stuff."
Even if a lot of people didn't wear it, Nick insists the quality was great. "One thing's for sure," he joked. "The money never fell out of the wallet."

Jonas marriage drama

They’ve only been married for five months, but Kevin Jonas and his wife, Danielle Deleasa, are already sleeping in separate beds. According to a friend of the couple’s, when it comes to their sleeping arrangements, the honeymoon is over. But it’s not what you think — the problem is that Kevin, 22, snores like a freight train! “Kevin and Danielle had never spent a night together until their wedding night, so she had no clue that he snores so loudly,” the insider explains. “She loves her husband, but now she sleeps in a guest room when he gets too noisy.” “They are still crazy about each other,” says the pal. “But the snoring has become a big joke for their friends.”

Jonas Brothers: Why You Have To Come Out To The Tour!

Jonas Brothers Get Stuck in Elevator!

Jonas Brothers: After new tour, we're going solo

The Jonas Brothers will kick off yet another world tour in just two months – tickets for an Aug. 14 show at HersheyPark stadium and an Aug. 27 show at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, N.J., go on sale Saturday.
But it looks like there are solo albums in the future for the trio’s two older brothers, Kevin and Joe – following in the footsteps of youngest brother Nick’s foray into solo work with his band The Administration and the album “Who I Am,” which he released and did a brief tour with this past winter.
Joe Jonas, speaking in a telephone news conference Wednesday, said he’s been collecting material for a solo disc, but has no plans for its immediate release. And Kevin Jonas says he’d also love to do a solo disc.
“I’ve been working on a lot of music personally,” Joe said. “It’s been a lot of fun for me to be able to do that.  … I’m not sure exactly when my music project will come out; I think when the time is appropriate. But hopefully the fans will receive it and like it.”
Nick Jonas also said he expects to do another album with The Administration in “the next couple of years.”
“I’m continuing to write things for Jonas Brothers, The Administration and other artists and there are always songs around,” he said.
And even eldest brother Kevin said, “I absolutely would love to do something musically, as well. But it’s just been an amazing year, we have a lot coming up.”
Indeed they do. In addition to the tour, the brothers plan to release a soundtrack disc to the second season of their Disney Channel TV show, “JONAS: LA,” which premieres June 20, as well as a soundtrack to their Disney Channel movie “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” due out Sept. 3.
But with all that, don’t expect a new Jonas Brothers disc to follow 2009’s “Lines, Vines and Trying Times” until at least 2011, and maybe later.
Nicks says the band decided to tour without a new record because “we knew we had a lot of material coming out in different areas, different movie and TV projects that we had coming out that there was music involved in.”
“And I  think we just felt that after releasing four albums in about 3 1/2 years that it might be a bit of an overload,” he said as all the brothers laughed.
The brothers said the new tour will incorporate music from “Camp Rock” and “JONAS,” and even will have cast members come on stage to perform ensemble numbers with the brothers – especially movie co-star (and Joe Jonas girlfriend) Demi Lovato, who also will be the tour’s opening act.
There also will be video elements and perhaps even movie clips worked into the concert, the brothers said. They said they’re working on the set list now, but the movie’s songs have “Something for everyone: There’s R&B, there’s hip-hop and then there’s kind of our more pop-rock sound [and] Demi’s sound.”
Nick said the brothers actually weren’t involved in the songwriting for the film. “We were busy touring at the time,” he said. “And so they had some songwriters listen to our music and really kind of write some tunes that we feel like we would have done anyway. [But] we love the music and we’re excited for the fans to hear it and we’re excited to play it live this summer.”
The “JONAS” soundtrack also will have songs written by outside writers, but also songs that Nick wrote. “Like the first season, it has a ‘Flight of the Conchords’ feel to it,” Joe said, referring to the MTV show and the duo who star in it.
Don’t despair, though: The tour – which after North America also will hit Latin American and Europe—will still be full of Jonas Brothers hits.
“It is still a Jonas Brothers tour,” Nick said.
When the brothers do release a new album, they say they’re in no hurry to prematurely age their music or change the style that has let them sell 8 million copies of their last three albums worldwide.
“For us, our musical journey has just been a progression.” Kevin said. “We’re not trying to grow up too fast or anything -- and I’m saying that even coming from being married. [Kevin got married last winter] For us, we’re growing up with our audience and growing up with the people listening to our music, as well as the people all around us that are starting to listen to our music as well.
“For us, we’re just making the music that we love. And of course being an artist, there’s always time to try and reinvent yourself and make what you have fresh. And I think that’s a goal for every artist out there. But at the same time, you want to try to stay true to who you are as people.”

Nick Jonas says improved JoBros TV show 'amazing'

NEW YORK — The Jonas Brothers' TV show is undergoing a makeover — to the delight of Nick Jonas.
The Disney show is changing its name from "Jonas" to "Jonas LA" and in it, the boys have moved from New Jersey to Los Angeles to pursue their dreams — just as they did in real life.
The youngest sibling in the pop trio says the changes to the show are "amazing."
In a recent interview, the 17-year-old said: "It's such an improvement from last season. We're so happy with the new direction. ... We feel very happy with it and we're very proud of it."
"Jonas LA" makes its season debut on June 20.

The Jonas Brothers...Their scary elevator ride

O.K. -- so these guys are in a movie. It's related.

Also, this story is so unnecessary that I felt it had to be posted. But, I think (I'm pretty sure) that the only reason I'm interested in this saga is because it involves three things that creep me out -- the Jonas Brothers, broken elevators and the Grove Mall in Los Angeles.

This scenario just might be one of the official levels of hell.

I'll have to check with Satan:

"The Jonas Brothers and a bodyguard were trapped in an elevator for nearly an hour after their sold-out LA concert at The Grove the other day. 'For the first 15 minutes they thought it was funny, but after 30 they started to worry,' said our source.

Wait a minute. The Jonas Brothers thought someone would forget them in the elevator? Like, the guy in charge of fame made the call with a, yeah, your time is up kids. Sorry it had to happen this way. You will forever be stuck in this elevator, unable to entertain millions with your magic.

Or maybe they're just claustrophobic.

This part made me laugh. Or cry. I'm not sure:

"'Security guards finally managed to pry open the doors. The elevator was between floors. The brothers are skinny and easily squeezed out, but it was tougher for their giant bodyguard.' A rep for the band confirmed they got stuck for 30 minutes and added, 'Everybody got out fine.'"

If the bodyguard was screaming, this story has just walked into my nightmares.

Oops! Jonas Brothers Trapped in Elevator for 45 Minutes

After the Jonas Brothers treated thousands of fans to a free outdoor concert at The Grove in Hollywood last Saturday, the trio planned to make a hasty retreat. But instead, they found themselves trapped in an elevator – "for 45 minutes," says Kevin Jonas.

"We were stuck in an elevator with eight people and Big Rob," adds Joe Jonas, referring to the band's illustrious security guard. "It was a 21-person elevator," notes Kevin.

Asked who panicked first, Joe says, "Me and Nick" – which prompted some disagreement from Nick.

"I didn't panic," insists the young star, who, mindful of his diabetic condition, points out, "I just didn't have my [blood-sugar] checker with me. No one had it on them, and I was afraid that if [my blood-sugar level] went low in an elevator we wouldn't be able to do anything about it."

Interjects Joe: "It went from, 'Okay, this is hilarious, we're stuck in an elevator, okay press the button,' to 'This is crazy, okay, I can't breathe, this is insane.' "

Fire Dept. to the Rescue

But at least the brothers – who with special guest Demi Lovato are preparing to kick off a 46-city tour in Dallas on July 27 (also joining the tour during its run will be cast members of Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam) – were in good company during their containment.

"Chef Tim Love was in the elevator, with us and he was trying to become Rambo in the moment," says Joe, who, as a fan of Love's cooking, had invited him to join them that day.

"It was really funny," says Joe. "It was crazy to see the fact that he was put in the situation."

To top it off, the entire experience was captured on film. "We had our photographer Rob Hoffman with us, and he had his video camera so he taped the whole thing," says Nick.

Adds Joe: "It ended with the fire department coming through with axes."

Jonas Brothers Working On New Songs As Summer Tour Begins

As they prepare to hit the road for a 16-week North American tour, the Jonas Brothers are plotting a new group album -- probably for 2011, but don't hold them to that.

"As far as the next Jonas Brothers album, I think we're working on what that's going to sound like, just taking our time and trying to make something great, no matter what that sounds like," youngest brother Nick Jonas told Billboard.com during a conference call with reporters on Wednesday to promote the tour, which kicks off July 27 in Dallas. "Hopefully 2011 is the timeline, but we're not sure just yet, and we're in no rush. We're writing a lot of music but in no rush to release an album in any time period."

Oldest brother Kevin Jonas, meanwhile, predicted that Nick's work with his other band will be one of the new influences on the trio's next batch of new tunes. "Will Nick Jonas and the Administration have an effect? Potentially," Kevin explained. "Nick went on a musical journey with that album Joe and I supported, and we're so proud of that project. His influences and things he put into that may come out in new Jonas Brothers songs. We're taking that journey right now, allowing it to take as much time as is needed for it."

Though the group decided against having a follow-up to 2008's chart-topping "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" ready for the tour -- "I think we felt releasing four albums in three and a half years might be a bit of an overload," Nick said -- fans won't be wanting for new Jonas music. The group will have songs on the soundtrack to the Disney Channel movie "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," which comes out Aug. 10 (the film premieres Sept. 3). There will also be a soundtrack for the "JONAS L.A." Disney Channel series -- which launches June 20 -- that will be released July 20.

Nick noted that the brothers did not write material for "Camp Rock 2" since they were on tour at the time the movie was being scripted. "We had some songwriters listen to our music and...write some tunes we feel we would've done anyway," he said. "There's something for everyone -- there's R&B, there's hip-hop and then there's kind of our more pop-rock sound...So many different sounds that I think will really attract people to the film. We're excited for the fans to hear it this summer.

The trio was more involved in the "JONAS L.A." songs, meanwhile, although Joe said they're also something of a departure for the group, saying there's "a kind of a 'Flight of the Conchords' feel" to the material.

The three Jonases said they're currently putting together the set list for the tour and will include not only "Camp Rock 2" co-star (and Joe's girlfriend) Demi Lovato but also other cast members from the movie. They're also working on the production and staging to, as Kevin said, "push ourselves to come up with new ideas and new, exciting things." He said a priority this year is "really trying to incorporate video...We have a couple of cool ideas. If we can make them all work for the show, it'd be really cool."

Jonas Brothers activity isn't the only thing on their minds, however. Nick said he hopes to record a second Administration album, while both Joe and Kevin said they'd like to do solo projects, with Joe also expressing an interest in expanding his acting pursuits, possibly to the big screen. But those are taking a back seat for now. "It's just been an amazing year, and we have a lot coming up," said Kevin, whose wife, Danielle, plans to travel with him during the tour. "We're really looking forward to everything that's coming this year."
