Nick Jonas & The Administration: NICK J EXCLUSIVE!

Kevin Jonas Gets His Perfect Disney Princess Fairy-Tale Wedding

So we all know Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa are married and honeymooning in Mexico, which is supercool for them and all, but we want wedding pictures!
People has the first look at the photos in this week's issue, and the mag also features Kev describing his very Disney wedding.
The ceremony was not only in a castle but there was also an enchanted forest and special footwear for his bride. "I knew that my princess needed her glass slippers and her castle," he said of his new missus, whom he calls his "Jersey Girl." That's Princess Jersey Girl to the rest of us.
She kept the Disney theme going by walking down the aisle to "Bella Notte," from Lady and the Tramp, and getting her first People cover (every modern-day princess's dream).
The issue hits newsstands Dec. 30 and will hopefully feature lot of photos of Nick in his best-man attire.

The Jonas Brothers: E! special

Kevin Jonas Marries in Fairytale Setting

In a setting fit for a Disney prince and his princess, Kevin Jonas married Danielle Deleasa Saturday night at Oheka Castle, a turn-of-the-century French-style chateau, on a sprawling estate in Long Island.

"We're so happy that we're finally married and we were able to share the special moment with family, friends and loved ones," the couple tells PEOPLE.

Though a blizzard threatened the festivities, the wedding attended by 400 family members and friends, including Demi Lovato, went forward as scheduled.

"The snow only made it look more like a winter wonderland," said Michael Russo, a celebrity event planner of Roses-n-Lollipops, who for Saturday's event created a fairytale forest under heated white tents, complete with 14-foot trees draped in hydrangeas and crystals made to look like icicles.

"Danielle looked like a princess," he said. When she walked down the aisle in her strapless tulle and Chantilly lace Vera Wang gown, "Kevin couldn't stop smiling," said Russo.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father, Thomas Deleasa. Danielle, a former hairdresser, wore a silk-and-crystal flower in her hair designed by Denise Leli, because she was wearing one when she met Kevin in the Bahamas 2007.

With his brothers, Joe and Nick serving as his best men, Kevin, 22, and Danielle, 23, recited traditional vows and exchanged Jacob & Co. wedding bands they designed for one another.

"Kevin has said many times he feels like he met his princess," says Russo. "To see them together you can feel the warmth and the love all around them. They are just perfect for each other."

After the ceremony, guests were to be treated to a smorgasbord of Caribbean, Asian and Italian – among other dishes.

Kevin Jonas weds in secret

Kevin Jonas is to wed Danielle Deleasa, On Saturday in a ceremony the Jonas Brothers star has battled to keep mum. Sources say Deleasa will walk up the aisle in a strapless Vera Wang gown and a headpiece by designer Denise Leli. One source said, "Danielle has gone for a romantic dress and an intricate headpiece with floral details, because when she met Kevin on the beach she was wearing a flower in her hair." Jonas and Deleasa are rumored to be tying the knot among family and friends, including fellow Disney star Demi Lovato, at a private estate on Long Island. Jonas proposed to former hairdresser Deleasa by turning up at her New Jersey doorstep last June with a ring, breaking teen girls hearts worldwide. The two met in the Bahamas in 2007.

More About Kevins Wedding

Kevin Jonas' highly anticipated wedding to his longtime girlfriend, Danielle Deleasa, is set for this Saturday, E! News confirms.
And while Joe has probably worn a prince costume at one time or another and Nick has his own Administration, the event will be fit for no less than a (teen) king and queen.
The wedding is at Long Island's Oheka Castle, after all.
This is what a source at the venue tells us...
The 22-year-old crooner and his slightly older bride will exchange I-dos at the family-run and French chateau-inspired event space that has also hosted the nuptials of 'N Sync's Joey Fatone as well as scenes from Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher's What Happens in Vegas.
Deleasa, a former hairdresser, won't be without her royal florals for the big occasion. Pedestals Florist will be arranging the blooms for the big day, E! News has learned exclusively.
The young lovebugs confirmed their engagement on July 1.

Nick Jonas Gets Critics’ Choice Gig, Wants To Make Tom Cruise Dance

Nick Jonas and his new band The Administration have just been announced as the official house band of the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, and yes, we are squealing. In fact, we’ve been squealing since we sat down with the brooding 17-year-old to chat with him about his new album (We’re way older than Nick, and we’re digging his new song. Who knew?), what it means to be raw and vulnerable as a teen, his determination to make Hollywood A-Listers dance at the CCMAs, and of course, his picks for the best movies of the year.
And because we know you’re curious: yes, he’s hot in person. Like, really hot. As if that wasn’t enough, he was wearing boots like Jake Ryan in Sixteen Candles (which was made before he was born). Needless to say, we’re totally smitten.
Check out the Critics’ Choice Movies Awards site for more info on Nick’s big night and tune in to VH1 on Jan. 15 to see his new band rock out at the CCMAs. Press release after the jump.

AWARDS CEREMONY TO BE BROADCAST LIVE ON VH1 FRIDAY, JANUARY 15 AT 9:00 PM ET/PT
KRISTIN CHENOWETH TO HOST THE EVENING
(SANTA MONICA, CA – December 16, 2009) – Nick Jonas & The Administration will be taking center stage at this year’s Critics’ Choice Movie Awards as the evening’s house band where they will perform classic hits as well a few of their original songs between awards and commercials. Joining Nick are four accomplished musicians who make up The Administration — bassist/producer John Fields and three former members of Prince’s New Power Generation including drummer Michael Bland, keyboardist Tommy Barbarella and guitarist Sonny Thompson. The band will make their award show debut at the 15th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards hosted by Kristin Chenoweth on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 9:00 PM ET/PT.
Earlier this year, Nick and the band spent time in Nashville, Tennessee to record the album. What emerged was “a cross between my roots in R&B and soul with a kind of rock/pop music behind it” described Nick. The album, “Who I Am” will be released on February 2 while their tour kicks off on January 2, 2010 in Dallas, TX.
“We could not be more excited to have Nick Jonas & The Administration on our stage at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards,” said Tom Calderone, President, VH1.  ”We pride ourselves at VH1 on presenting high-energy performances by top artists during our live events. Going solo doesn't mean it's the end of the Jonas Brothers, says band member Nick Jonas

YOUNGEST Jonas Brother Nick is going solo next year but the trio haven't had an Oasis-type meltdown. They to aren't that "immature".
Despite having more worldwide fame and scrutiny and being younger than Noel and Liam Gallagher, Nick, Joe and Kevin could show the Manchester brothers a thing or two about keeping a group together.
Nick, 17, said: "If there's something we disagree on, we'll have a conversation about it. But it's not an immature kind of 'I'm right and I'm gonna be stubborn about it' way.
"We're open to each other's comments. We have a great respect for each other.
"And we never forget that we are family. Our common passion is music. That really binds us together."
Taking notes, Noel and Liam? While the Gallaghers, who haven't talked since Noel left the band in August, plot their solo careers, Texas-bor n Nick has big ideas of his own.
He may still be a teenager but the Jonas Brothers are the world's biggest boy band. They began as a vehicle for Nick's solo career but Columbia Records president Steve Greenberg preferred it when his brothers sang with him.
Nick is also a seasoned actor. He started acting on Broadway at seven in A Christmas Carol, Annie Get Your Gun, Beauty And The Beast and Les Miserables.
Jonas Brothers' last two albums, 2008's A Little Bit Longer and this year's Lines, Vines And Trying Times both went to No.1 in the US and reached the top 10 in the UK.
They also feature on the track Dumb on Timbaland's new album, Shock Value II, which is out this week.
But next year Nick will step out on his own with Nick Jonas And The Administration, and will release a debut album, Who I Am.
But it's not the end of the Jonas Brothers. He'll team up with Joe and Kevin for Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam and Disney Channel show Jonas.
Nick's packed in a lot in 10 years and has some wise words for all X Factor hopefuls.
He said: "I think a lot of younger artists today just try to be famous first and a good musician or actor second.
"They have their priorities mixed up. Ray Charles once said, 'I don't want to be famous, I just want to be great.'
"That comes close to our mantra in life.
"A lot of fans come up to me and say, 'I'm a songwriter. I want to be a musician one day.'
"That's what I love to hear - when somebody says, 'I want to be a musician', 'I want to be an artist', or 'I want to be an actor', as opposed to 'I want to be famous'.
"When you are whole-hearted about what you do in life - and I've always strived to be the best I can be - that's the attitude you should have."
While he sees Jonas Brothers as a rock band with pop vocals, his Administration side project will show off a more indie side. Looking like someone from the pages of NME, Nick wears a chequered shirt, blue jeans, brown boots and a bracelet.
He said: "I'm a big fan of The Zutons and Kings Of Leon. There is a bunch of bands that I like, but the Kanye West album is really great. And there is this band called Leland who are really wonderful, too."
It doesn't sound like Nick has much time for girls. While brother Kevin, 22, is engaged to former hairdresser Danielle Deleasa, Nick reckons he's still a bit young for all that.
He laughed: " At the end of the day, I'm still in high school. And to think that people are interested in my high school relationships is kind of funny.
"For us, we're very flattered by the fact that we have a lot of female fans. It 's not bad.
"I'm not gonna lie," he spluttered, laughing even harder.
Their virginity may have been mocked by Russell Brand last year, but to thousands their clean image and hard work ethic is a real inspiration.
Nick is glad many people lined up to condemn the comic.
He said: "I think we consider ourselves normal guys who are doing our best, and that's what we've been saying from the beginning.
"Live like you're at the bottom even if you're at the top. For us, that just means staying humble and doing your best every day. We're not saying we're perfect.
"Nobody's perfect, but we're doing our a best. We're just trying to do our best to make our mum proud and to be gentlemen."

Nick Jonas plots tour with side project

Nick Jonas, the youngest member of the multi-platinum selling Jonas Brothers, will hit the road early next year without his brothers. Jonas will be debuting his new side project, Nick Jonas and the Administration, with a nationwide tour of theatres. The band will hit Boston's Orpheum Theatre on Tuesday, January 12. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $39.50 to $49.50, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. Diane Birch will open the show.
Jonas and company will be touring in support of his forthcoming album, Who I Am, which is scheduled to drop in stores on February 2. The album was recorded earlier this year at Nashville’s Blackbird Studios. Jonas enlisted producer John Fields and they quickly pulled together an “A-Team” of musicians, which they gave the moniker “The Administration.”  Together they worked on Who I Am, which contains material culled from three years of song ideas not quite right for the Jonas Brothers.
The tour will feature the songs from Nick Jonas & The Administration’s Who I Am as well as some surprise cover songs and a handful of Jonas Brothers songs that are personal to Jonas. “With this tour we’re going to try to accomplish the same thing we did in the studio," Jonas explained in a press release. "That’s capturing some heart and soul in the music, and having fun doing it.”

Nick Jonas Inspired By Prince and John Mayer

Are you loving Nick Jonas' new career turn with his new band Nick Jonas and the Administration? Plenty of people are! And now he's telling us all about his inspiration.
You obviously know where Nick Jonas is from (the Jonas Brothers, duh!). But do you know where his new bandmates, The Administration are from? They're actually from Prince's New Power Generation Band. So, it's not really a surprise that Nick Jonas found inspiration in Prince for his new LP.
Well, that's pretty cool for Nick! But he says he's still not sure if Prince has heard any of the new music. But he says, "I've heard one or two stories about how the guys in the band were asked by Prince to come and do some things with him, but they had to decline." So, Prince must know they're up to something!
And Nick is hoping for a little surprise visit from Prince when his band plays in Minneapolis: "We're playing a show in Minneapolis and it will be the homecoming for all the guys in the band. And [I'm] just waiting to see if Prince is gonna show up and be sitting there, like, with a blank face on. Hopefully he likes it." Wouldn't that be amazing for Nick Jonas?
But Nick says that he also uses John Mayer for inspiration (does every musician today?): "[I] admire his work and I think that using some of his songs as inspiration for this was a big thing." We love John Mayer too and think he definitely helped Nick Jonas get a more grown-up sound than he had with his brothers.
Other artists Nick Jonas admires include Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, Elvis Costello and Johnny Cash."

Nick Jonas: "Modeling" New Band After "Springsteen"

Think you know the Jonas Brothers? Then it's time to meet Nick Jonas' new band – Nick Jonas & the Administration.
The youngest JoBro's solo project will be presented with guest hosts Kevin and Joe Jonas on Radio Disney's "Nick Jonas & The Administration: Total Access Weekend" on Saturday and Sunday at 5 PM ET.
In the interview, Nick told his brothers on Radio Disney that he's looking to imitate the greats with his new gig.
"I'm kind of modeling it after Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band," he said. "It's kind of the look we were going for stylistically on the album cover and just the project in general… [Springsteen] pours so much passion and emotion into all of his songs every night and I hope I can capture that too."
Nick will also be playing some shows with the Adminstration in support of his new album, "Who I Am," kicking off on January 2 in Dallas, Texas.
"This show will definitely be more about the music…I have three buses and one truck, instead of 17," he told Radio Disney.
While he's going solo, with "Who I Am," due on February 2 on Hollywood Records, Nick said JoBros fans shouldn't be worried.
"We've [Kevin, Joe and Nick] had long, honest conversations about it and the truth is that this project and the Jonas Brothers can co-exist," he said. "Come mid-February we're going to be back in production with the TV show and we'll be working on plans for another [Jonas Brothers] world tour next summer."
The brothers are prepping a second season of Disney's "JONAS," with production beginning in February for a mid-2010 return to the Disney Channel.

Kevin Jonas Loves Chicken Parmesan & His Fiancé, Danielle

Kevin Jonas is a lucky man, at the age of 22, he is absolutely ready to settle down. He didn’t waste time at clubs or bars searching for the ‘One,’ because he already knew who she was. Kevin told TWIST in the December issue that something inside was telling him, “follow your heart. Danielle’s the one.” Awwww…he is so romantic. In fact, Kevin is enthusiastic for marriage: “I’m so excited, so ready. Starting a life together with the person I’ve always dreamed about is going to be a big thing for me. It’s a big step, but an exciting one. There will be new challenges and new things, I don’t know if anyone can ever say what to expect, but I know it’s going to be amazing. It’s going to be an incredible time for us.”
Danielle has already won over her fiancé with her Italian cooking, according to Kev, “She makes this chicken parm that’s legitimately unbelievable! She makes a good pasta, too. She’s a good hometown Italian girl.” She’s lucky to not only have Kev’s admiration for her but, his families too.Kevin said, “My dad asked me, ‘Are you sure?,’ and I was like, ‘Absolutely, I know without a shadow of a doubt.’ And my dad was like, ‘Well good, because we love her, too!’ My family’s really taken Danielle in as their own. And it’s been really nice.'”Kevin and Danielle, have the support of Kevin Jona’s family and now his fans. Good luck on a healthy & lengthy marriage.

Five things you never knew about Nick Jonas & The Administration.

Nick Jonas, Chamillionaire To Appear At Fort Hood Event

On December 11, a month after Army Major Nidal Hassan allegedly opened fire on fellow soldiers at a Texas military base, killing 13, the Fort Hood community will come together for a spirit-lifting event that will feature an appearance by Nick Jonas and a performance from Houston rapper Chamillionaire.

The free event, called Fort Hood Community Strong, will take place at Hood Stadium. It is described as a day of "healing, fun and entertainment" aimed at bringing some joy to the more than 349,000 military personnel, family members, retirees and civilian employees who live on the massive base and were impacted by the November 5 shooting.

In addition to a meet-and-greet with military troops and families by Jonas, the day will feature a set from Chamillionaire, an acoustic set from Staind singer Aaron Lewis, a performance from the Zac Brown Band, and appearances by comedian Dana Carvey, actor Gary Sinise, the Houston Texans cheerleaders, Bonzo Crunch the clown, NHRA Army car driver Tony Schumacher and legendary sock puppet Lamb Chop.

Army psychiatrist Hassan, 39, allegedly opened fire on his fellow soldiers last month, killing 13 and wounding at least 30 before being shot four times by a pair of civilian police officers. Hassan, who was paralyzed from the chest down in the shooting, has been charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder. Attorneys for Hassan have said they Army plans to evaluate the psychiatrist to test his competency to stand trial and his mental state at the time of the shootings.

Nick Jonas Quietly Enters The Billboard Hot 100

This week's edition of the Billboard Hot 100 is pretty uneventful, with Jay-Z's "Empire State of Mind" once again topping the list and the biggest song in the country. The rest of the top 10 mostly stayed the same, with Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" still knocking at the door just below "Empire State of Mind" and Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" holding steady in third place. But one of the most surprising footnotes on this week's chart is the debut of Nick Jonas and the Administration's "Who I Am," which had a high-profile debut on the Grammy Awards nomination show last week but still only entered the chart at #73. For a 17-year-old guy branching out from a band that has already sold eight million albums, that seems like something of a quiet debut, doesn't it?
Perhaps not. Though the Jonas Brothers have sold millions of records, a quick look at their singles history reveals that they've never made a tremendous impact on the Billboard Hot 100 (a remarkable feat considering the type of success they have had). Their highest-charting tune was "Burnin' Up" (from 2008's A Little Bit Longer). The rest of their songs have had mixed success on the pop charts — clearly, they're an album-oriented band. And even "Burnin' Up" had an especially intense push when it debuted: The video premiered right after the premiere of "Camp Rock," which was one of the most-watched shows in the history of the channel.
But shouldn't Jonas have gotten a similar bump from the Grammy show? He probably should have, except that the Grammy Nomination show attracted only 6.5 million viewers, despite having the most-watched show of the night as its lead-in. (That show? A repeat of the holiday classic "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.") The bottom line is that there's no need for Nick to panic, as there is plenty of time between now and the February 2 release date of his album Who I Am. Since he and his brothers have established themselves as artists who drive album and ticket sales and not necessarily singles numbers, everything is still coming up Jonas.

Nick Jonas Bought Joe’s Christmas Present Already!

Nick Jonas snaps a pic backstage with JJJ after an exclusive interview in NYC on Monday afternoon (December 7).
The 17-year-old musician let us listen to two new tracks off of Nick Jonas & The Administration’s new album, Who I Am. Nick played “Last Time Around,” which is a a Stevie Wonder influenced song with the following sample lyrics: “Don’t forget the fun we had last summer.” He also played “Conspiracy Theory,” a Lenny Kravitz inspired song with the sample lyrics, “The walls are thin and the word is out now.”
Nick also told us about his upcoming Christmas plans. Nick shared, “I think we’ll probably go back to Texas and just be home for the holidays. I got [big brother] Joe a Christmas gift today, actually, so that was the first Christmas gift I’ve purchased. I’ve got to figure out a moment when I can get everybody else something, but it’ll all work out in the end.”
When asked if he could share what he bought Joe, Nick told JJJ, “Joe reads your website! So, I can’t really say because he might find out! But I can tell you it’s something to go along with something he already has.”
WHAT DO YOU THINK Nick got Joe for Christmas?

Nick Jonas Chats on his Presidency Campaign

Nick Jonas: I’m Fascinated With Politics

Nick Jonas maybe not be running for President next year (he’s not old enough), but he still has dreams of waking up in The White House one day.
The 17-year-old musician caught up with MTV to chat about his college plans, The Administration and his funny nickname, Mr. President. Check it:
On furthering his education: “We’ll have to wait and see. The first step to the whole process is going to college and getting that in there. I visited a couple colleges this past summer. It was interesting to see how it would all work out and what the timing would be, but that might be in the future some day.”
On his nickname, Mr. President: “Not so much [fascinated] with politics, but more just about the fascination with the president. The opportunities that we’ve had to go to the White House, the times that I’ve joked about wanting to be president and all that, I’m taking [it] somewhat serious.”
On The Administration’s new songs: “Obviously, I have a lot of time to think about that, but it was something cool to do with this. And it gave me some inspiration, and having a list of a hundred of these things that I could take and make them double meanings…only four of them stuck. ‘Oval Office’ is a song that didn’t sound that cool.”

MTV News Extended Play: Nick Jonas

"The times that I have joked about wanting to be president, and all that, I'm taking it somewhat serious," Nick says.

Chelsea Lately Talks About Nick Jonas

Jonas Brothers to sing Sunday at Disney World for parade taping

Thousands of ticketholders who hoped to see Jonas Brothers perform in the Magic Kingdom for the 2009 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade taping today will have to wait a couple more days. The trio made an appearance for interviews but Friday’s rain kept them from singing “Summertime Anthem,” which is featured on the new CD All Wrapped Up: Vol. 2.
Instead, Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas will be back Sunday to give it another shot when there is little chance of weather disrupting the taping. Tomorrow’s production schedule — which included spots with host Kelly Ripa, singer Steve Rushton (songs on Hannah Montana: The Movie, G-Force and Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa Paws soundtracks and The Suite Life on Deck TV show) and the Santa Buddies Golden retriever pups , plus the parade floats — also has been shifted to Sunday.
Pre-selected audience members with e-Tickets for Friday, Saturday or Sunday are invited to return Sunday and will be allowed to attend the 7 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. call. The park opens at 9 a.m. to the public, and while it is possible that you might be able to see Jonas Brothers without an e-Ticket, you can be sure it will be from a distance. More than 5,000 e-Tickets were distributed for their performance alone, and the raincheck allows even more ticketholders to attend during that time.
Celine Dion, who also was scheduled to sing in front of Cinderella Castle on Friday, was moved inside to perform at Disney’s Grand Floridian. She sang “O’ Come All Ye Faithful” with backup from Disney’s Encore! cast choir on a stage erected in the hotel lobby. Then, Dion moved to a balcony to sing “Don’t Save It All For Christmas Day.” The luxurious hotel served as a beautiful backdrop for her set, and most audience members had unobstructed views of the taping as they lined the balconies of four floors. Even the kids found it easier to wait when they had room to move around. The folks at Disney really should consider having a performer tape there each year.
Co-host Nick Cannon, who is filling in for Regis Philbin while he recuperates from surgery, introduced Dion and taped other spots in the hotel.
As with any television production, there is a lot of downtime for audience members. At the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade taping, though, viewers are treated to the theatrics of veteran cast member Billy Flanagan who dances, sings and jokes with them. The man makes me laugh every year. He warns children not to pick their noses or they won’t see themselves on TV on Christmas morning. For adults, one of his classic lines is: If you are here with someone you don’t want to be seen with on TV, now would be a good time to separate. This year he sang Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” while a choir member had the moves down.
See Flanagan and the choir member in action, Cannon heading to his remote, and Dion’s “O’ Come All Ye Faithful” in this short video.

Nick Jonas Calls Radio Disney

David Ryan Harris talks NJ&TA

I know the photo looks like a surveillance tape from a studio break in where the subject is receiving instructions in his headphones, but wait…….
Mid March of this year, I get a call from my friend John Fields asking me if I wanted to go to Nashville and play on a Nick Jonas record he was going to be working on in April.
Michael Bland? Tommy Barbarella? John Fields? Nick Jonas?
No doubt. I’m waaaaay down like a St. Louis Rams fan.
At that point, I had no idea how great the material would turn out to be and how much I would come to respect both the poise and songwriting of “the youngest Jonas”.
I had an amazing time playing, hanging, and getting to know everyone involved. I think the songs are great and I got to play a boatload of guitar solos all over the record. Plus, I was allowed (encouraged?) to do my Sly Stone vocal “approximation” on “Stronger”. All around…..a great way to spend my birthday (check the photo date)
Though I won’t be joining the guys on the road for the touring they’ll do over the next year or so, (Sonny T will be on guitar for the tour) I am as proud of my contribution to the record, and the record as a whole as I have ever been with anything I’ve ever done. Prepare to rethink.

Performing Without His Brothers was Different

Nick Jonas took the stage without his brothers for the first time at Wednesday night’s Grammy Nominations Concert. Instead of Kevin and Joe, he was up there with his side project, Nick Jonas & the Administration, and the younger Jonas admitted that it felt a little weird.
Good thing Joe and Kevin were there to present their little brother’s act to the world. “It definitely was different,” Nick told MTV News backstage after performing the band’s debut single “Who I Am.” “But I think going into it, knowing they were supportive made it all right. I was looking forward to it. … It was a lot of fun being up there tonight. Having my fans up top and my brothers down on the floor just made for a great, comfortable environment to premiere this new side project, this new record.”
So, why did Nick choose the Grammy concert as his band’s big debut? Well, it was all about the timing. The new group’s debut album Who I Am, comes out on February 2, after a kick-off tour in January.
“When going through the setup of the record with the team, we were trying to think of the right vehicle to premiere this record,” he said. “This kind of fell into the perfect timeslot. … It meant the world to me, and just to be here is an honor.”

Nick Jonas & The Administration First Performance

Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation

The Jonas Brothers, best known for the gaggles of screaming girls they keep in tow, are putting signed paraphernalia up for auction to raise money to support the Ontario branch of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Nick and Joe Jonas were in Toronto earlier this year filming a movie. That’s when the discovered the CIBC Run for the Cure – and joined in to raise money and awareness for the cause.
After the race, they signed t-shirts, hats and megaphones, which will now be auctioned off on ebay to raise money for the foundation. The auction runs for eight more days – and counting – so start your bidding. Because really, wouldn’t a signed t-shirt for a good cause make a way better present than their latest album?
