Nick Jonas was an artful dodger Wednesday on MuchOnDemand when a fan asked if he was dating Selena Gomez after the paparazzi caught them going to dinner together yesterday. “I think when it comes to that I try to keep it a bit to myself and keep it a bit private,” he said. “We always try to find time to go out and hang out with people we enjoy spending time with and as far as that future of that relationship goes I will keep that to myself for right now.”
Jonas appeared via webcam today on MOD after a busy Tuesday greeting fans, performing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, dinner with Gomez and three shows in southern California.
Jonas also added fuel to the popular rumour that he may run for president one day. “I think it’s fun. I think it started off as a joke but now I feel it’s becoming a bit more serious and starting my campaign now. It would be fun to be president. We’ll see what happens,” he said. After VJ Sarah Taylor joked that he had said the presidency would be fun he quickly corrected himself saying, “I don’t know if it will be fun. It would be a big challenge I think.”
Taylor observed that his newest video reminded her of Bob Dylan and Jonas said that Dylan’s style is a big influence for him. “He’s got the curly hair going and it’s definitely and inspiration for me.” He confessed though that his dream collaboration would be with Elvis Costello.
Jonas’s side project, Nick Jonas & the Administration, released their first album Who I Am Tuesday.
