Michelle Obama, Nick Jonas Team Up – for Fitness
Move over, Mickey: The "Happiest Place on Earth" is about to welcome a very special visitor – all the way from the White House.
Michelle Obama is teaming to launch "Disney Magic of Healthy Living," a nutrition initiative that complements the healthier lifestyle she champions with her own campaign, Let's Move.
Also on board to encourage families to commit to healthier habits: Disney Channel regular Nick Jonas, 18, who will pal up with the First Lady and other Disney stars to promote fitness and better eating habits.
"I am thrilled to join Disney's 'Magic of Healthy Living' effort and support the work these young people are doing to reach out to their peers and communicate this powerful message," Mrs. Obama, who shoots hoops and gardens in the PSAs, said in a press release.
She adds: "I hope through programs like the 'Magic of Healthy Living,' young people are inspired to take control of their own health, fitness and nutrition and engage their families, schools and communities to do the same."

Joe Jonas & Ashley Greene's Relationship is Getting Serious
Last night I got quite the surprise while out at a neighborhood bar in Jacksonville Beach, FL, when a friend of mine bumped into none other than local resident Ashley Greene (Twilight) and beau Joe Jonas (Jonas Brothers).
Neither needless were too pleased and decided to distant themselves into a corner wall of the Ritz bar. The two were joined by two other couples, but were seemingly only into one another all night. Joe chose to sit away from everyone while Ashley was rubbing him in between heavy make out sessions. When they weren't making out or Ashley wasn't rubbing Joe, they were holding hands.
Apparently, neither were very pleased once they began to get noticed and people started to come up and request photos, so not long later they finally decided to leave.
Despite breakup rumors, these two are quite serious and Joe has been spending some quality time with Ashley and her family here in Jacksonville this weekend before she begins filming the new Twilight installment. A friend of Ashley's tells me tonight the two are even discussing marriage with the family.
Will Joe be the next to tie the knot??? I will keep you updated...
UPDATE: Joe has asked Ashley's family for permission to ask her hand in marriage. That is essentially what the whole trip was for my source tells me.
AND there was absolutely no fight between Joe and any club patron...Those are simply rumors. A guy was kicked out after coming too close for comfort on several attempts.

Nick Jonas is set to guest star as a pop singer on the new ABC series Mr. Sunshine, starring Matthew Perry, reports USA TODAY'S Cindy Clark.Jonas will play Eli White, an up-and-coming singer who wants everything his way before he performs at the Sunshine Center. Perry plays Ben, who runs the Sunshine Center, a landmark sports arena in San Diego. Ben finds himself scrambling to do everything he can to attend to the needy singer in the hopes that he'll keep his commitment to perform at the sold-out show. The series also stars Allison Janney, Andrea Anders, James Lesure and Nate Torrence. A premiere date has not been set.
Joe Jonas Becomes a SoBro (Solo Brother, That Is)
Joe Jonas is going solo.
That's right, Jonas Brothers fans. Better get used to just one JoBro on your stage, because E! News has exclusively confirmed the middle one is stepping out on his own…
"We are planning for an early 2011 release," a rep for Hollywood Records tells us.
The Jonas Brothers recently ended the North American leg of their Camp Rock 2 tour, and Joe is currently in the studio working on his first solo effort.
"He is working with various writers and producers on music," the insider tells us, adding that Joe "wants a more dangerous sound," along the lines of a "sexier, Justin Timberlake" vibe. Well, if Joe can emulate J.T., than we think he'll be just fine on his own.
We're also hearing that Joe wants to redo his look as well, opting for a "T-shirt -and-leather jacket" ensemble as opposed to the suit-and-tie get-up the Jonas Brothers have been known to favor.
Earlier this year, Joe dropped some hints that he would be following in younger brother Nick's footsteps by doing a sibling-free side project, telling our Marc Malkin, "I'm writing songs right now. I'm writing a lot of music."
And before the screaming and hysterics can begin, know that this is being labeled as a side project, and the Jonas Brothers are "absolutely not" breaking up.
"The JoBros are here to stay," says the band insider.
In other words, Jonas fans, you can have your trio cake and eat the solo pieces, too.

We don't feel threatened by new stars like Justin Bieber, insist Kevin Jonas
THE Jonas Brothers claim they don't fear the rise and rise of 16-year old rival Justin Bieber.
It's fair to say the younger and cuter Justin has taken some of the puppy love o the Jonas Brothers.
But the sibling trio - Joe, 21, Kevin, 22, and 18-year-old Nick - insist they aren't afraid of their fans jumping ship with Bieber Fever.
Kevin, who put a spanner in their boyband credentials by marrying former hairdresser Danielle Deleasa in December, insisted: "I think there is room for everybody.
"We're not afraid of anything or worried about anything. We're just being who we are and making music that we love.
"We're proud of the guys that are following their dreams. As long as they're doing it for the right reasons, we'll totally support them."
The brothers may be young but, like many Disney stars, are already veterans.
In the past four years as well as their own TV series, they have starred in movies including Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: the Final Jam, the DVD of which is out this week.
The boys even played singing cherubs in Night At the Museum 2: Battle Of the Smithsonian.
Disney is like a club and it seems they all know each other. Nick dated Miley Cyrus and Joe dated Demi Lovato, his co-star in Camp Rock.
They split earlier this year and Demi, who is supporting them on their South American tour in October, was hurt when he brought his new girl - Twilight star Ashley Greene - on their tour of America in August.
Joe stressed it's all cool. He said: "Me and Demi, we've known each other for a long time. We're very close friends. We've been friends for a long time.
"Some things work out, some things don't. That's just how it is.
"It's always fun working on screen and off stage with Demi. We have a lot of fun."
In Camp Rock 2, there was a cute scene where the boys share brotherly advice. It's a moment taken from life.
Joe said: "I think we write songs about personal experiences and relationships.
"That's kind of where we like to discuss our personal life a lot. We like to keep it that way."
He added that the brothers are always there for each other in matters the heart and will let the others know what they think.
Clearly it's hard for the trio - who were mocked by Russell Brand for wearing purity rings - to find girls who don't want to date them just because they are famous.
Joe said: "The person you meet or date has to like you for who you are. I think it takes time to find someone like that.
"There is no need to rush something like that. I think you have to take your time with it. You get to know the person and make sure that their heart is in the right place.
"You have to trust them. I think trust is the biggest thing."
On tour, Joe and Nick travel with the band while Kevin and Danielle have their own bus. Kevin laughed: "We need our space."
The first Jonas to get hitched is still basking in married life. He said: "I love it.
"I can absolutely recommend it. If you have the right person - and I do! I definitely love being with her. I definitely made the right decision."

21 Under 21: Nick Jonas
No. 6: Nick Jonas
Birthdate: September 16, 1992 (age 18)
Why He's Hot: Sure, the youngest JoBro was voted Pop's Sexiest Man in our 2010 poll, but Nicholas Jerry Jonas is more than a pretty face. In February, Nick broke from his band of brothers and release the first album by his more mature side project, Nick Jonas & the Administration. This summer, he rejoined the trio to star in a hit Disney flick ('Camp Rock 2') and took the show on the road for a huge world tour. And yeah, his big brown eyes and luscious locks don't hurt to look at hurt, either.

Access Hollywood Live: Nick Jonas Talks Living With Diabetes
Nick Jonas, who is a paid spokesperson for Bayer Diabetes Care, joins Access Hollywood Live’s Billy Bush and Kit Hoover to discuss his experience living with diabetes. Plus, have the Jonas Brothers ever gone to Hooters like Justin Bieber did?
Jonas Brothers surprises elementary school
Reading. Writing. Arithmetic. And then a little Jonas Brothers.
At least that was the routine for one Los Angeles area elementary school on Tuesday.
The pop band strolled out on a stage without an introduction as 513 children ages 5-11 were experiencing their first assembly at their new school.
Some kids shrieked in disbelief. A few jaws dropped. Girls whispered to each other. And some kids just seemed confused at all the fuss -- which included several news cameras.
One little girl remarked: "I love the Jonas Brothers. They're my favorite team."
The Jonas Brothers were there on behalf of one of their concert sponsors, OfficeMax, and that company's "A Day Made Better" campaign, which will supply 1,000 teachers with $1,000 worth of free school supplies each.
The campaign kicked off Tuesday with the assembly at Los Feliz Arts Charter School, which opened its new campus in a 47,000 square-foot warehouse last week.
The Jonas Brothers made a few off-the-cuff remarks about the importance of education, then presented the school with 16 giant orange boxes containing $25,000 worth of school supplies.
OfficeMax got the idea for the promotion when it learned that teachers are spending about $1,000 of their own money each year on school supplies. On Tuesday, about a dozen OfficeMax employees were on hand to help out, each sporting a T-shirt reading: "Working to erase teacher funded classrooms."
The Jonas Brothers didn't perform, but the school's dance teacher and a colleague did, and they nearly stole the show, with the children chanting the instructor's name. Not an easy task, given his moniker: Mr. Poznanter. He wowed the kids with an acrobatic dance that involved a giant metal hoop.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter after their appearance, the Jonas Brothers suggested another installment of the "Camp Rock" franchise could be in store for them, despite the title of the recent one, "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam."
"That referred to the climactic moment," said Kevin Jonas, and does not indicate that Disney or the Jonas Brothers are calling it quits for "Camp Rock."
"We'll see," said Joe Jonas.
Asked about their interest in education, the brothers said it is one of their may charitable interests:
Nick Jonas works extensively to raise awareness for diabetes, for example, and he's co-chairing along with singer Jordin Sparks the National Youth Leadership Committee of the Ronald Reagan Centennial Celebration. Joe Jonas is a celebrity spokesman for the Special Olympics, and a few months back Kevin Jonas won a record $250,000 on NBC's "Minute to Win it" and gave it to the family's charitable organization, Change for the Children Foundation.
Joe Jonas to guest-star on '90210', may get recurring part
Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is set to guest-star on the CW teen drama 90210 in November and the pop singer says he may appear on more than one episode.
Jonas recently appeared in the Disney Channel movie Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam with his brothers Nick and Kevin as well as ex-girlfriend Demi Lovato. He also had guest spots on Lovato's series Sonny With a Chance and the Betty White sitcom Hot in Cleveland.
"90210 presented this awesome character idea - I’ll be playing myself," Jonas, 21, told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "It’s cool to be a part of 90210. I can’t really give too much. I’ll say that it possibly could be a recurring role, that’d be great." Reality stars Kim and Khloe Kardashian, who grew up in Beverly Hills, where the show is set, guest-starred on the series premiere earlier this month.

Which JoBro Has the Best Sports Skills?
The Jonas Brothers are done burnin' up baseball diamonds. At least for the season.
Kevin, Joe and Nick brought their softball team, the Road Dogs, to Cal State Long Beach's Blair Field on Sunday to play the final game of a 12-city tour on behalf of "X the TXT," a campaign designed to raise awareness among teens about the dangers of texting while driving.
But before taking the field, we just had to ask the all-important question: Of the three, who comes equipped with superior sandlot skills?
"I think the most athletic and the one who would dive for the ball the most would be Kev— Nick," revealed Joe. "I almost said Kevin."
"I was like, yeah, thanks," joked Kevin upon hearing Joe's slight slip-up.
But leave it to Nick to soothe his big bro's bruised ego.
"We all have our role on the team," he said diplomatically. "The fact that we play as a team is what's important."

Jonas Brothers leave fans ecstatic in Irvine
Every few songs during Jonas Brothers’ show with Demi Lovato on Sunday, I’d sneak a glance at my 9-year-old daughter. And, almost every time, she — like every other kid at the packed Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine — was on her feet singing, dancing, waving her sign or her glow stick.
She fell fast asleep by the time we hit the freeway to head home, so it wasn’t until the drive to school the next morning that I got her post-show report — particularly how she thought this concert compared to the previous two Jonas Brothers shows we’d covered.
Anna Lily’s verdict? Best one yet.
The reason why? This time it was almost all the hits you already knew, which made it more or less a party packed with favorites. For young fans of Nick and Joe and Kevin and Demi, that — and a parent willing to take you — is pretty much all you need.
Even relatively new songs from the soundtrack to Camp Rock 2, which premiered just two weeks ago, felt familiar Sunday because they’re played so often on Disney Channel and Radio Disney, the machine that helped turn these performers into superstars.
Yet, regardless of the corporate push that shot them to such heights so fast, there’s talent amid all the slick professionalism, and for fans among this near-capacity crowd that resulted in a fun-filled night of catchy pop-rock with a generous three dozen songs or so delivered in a little less than three hours.
Jonas Brothers wasted no time getting their night going, blazing through their first four songs – the infectiously catchy “Year 3000” and the peppy “Play My Music” among them — in less than 15 minutes. On this, the last night of their summer tour, it was clear the production had worked out any kinks it might have had long before reaching Irvine.
A middle section featured songs from both Camp Rock movies, and judging from the response those may have been favorites of the youngest fans present. For “Introducing Me,” Nick’s funny little number from the new movie, he played beat the clock, dared to finish by Joe in less than two minutes; words flying, he did it with six seconds left. After Nick’s spotlight turn, Joe and Demi served up duets on their big ballads from both movies, prompting a sea of side-to-side hand-waving from happy fans.
The rest of their set flowed smoothly — there aren’t really any spontaneous moments or ad-libbed song choices at these shows. They played a Beatles cover, “Drive My Car,” which they’d played for Sir Paul during an event at the White House earlier this year. Nick played a song off his solo album, Who I Am, which came off as an endearing anthem to self-empowerment.
A medley of their earliest songs came accompanied by a slide show of old family and band photos, the pictures of cute little Jonas boys eliciting plenty of love from the little girls (and a few of their mothers, too, we should note). And after a brief break they sprinted to the finish with an encore of “S.O.S.” and “Burnin’ Up” — two of their best songs, at least to our power-pop-loving ears.
Demi also thrilled fans, almost as much as the headliners who followed. Two years ago, after the first Camp Rock movie debuted and helped launch her career, she opened for the JoBros at Verizon, delivering a much lower-profile performance, at the time still seeming to be figuring out how to play live.
On Sunday, though, she came through with the poise of a veteran, arriving on stage in Disney diva fashion to sing “Get Back” and “La La Land.” As with Jonas Brothers, her video visuals were creative, polished and occasionally quite lovely to look at, especially during the carousel scenes used for “Catch Me.”
Her set opened with solo material and closed with four songs from Camp Rock, including the feisty anthems from the current movie, “We Can’t Back Down” and “It’s On.” For those numbers, she was joined by four of her co-stars from the movies, including Alyson Stoner and Matthew “Mdot” Finley, who on their own had opened the night with more songs from the latest flick — making sure that from the very start the familiar was foremost for the fun of fans.
Joe Jonas Working with Tom Hanks on New TV Show
Can we expect to see Joe Jonas on one of Tom Hanks' upcoming television shows?
We caught up with the Jonas Brothers at their Los Angeles Camp Rock Tour stop on Sunday where Joe explained recent paparazzi shots of him leaving a recording studio.
"I was actually doing something with Tom Hanks that day," explained the 21 year-old singer. "He's working on a new TV show and he asked me to be a part of it."
Can we expect to hear Joe's music in one of Hanks' epic war miniseries? Or perhaps we'll see Joe's acting chops in one of Hanks' lighter TV projects? We're investigating...
"Selfless" Jonas Brothers Spring Surprise Concert on L.A. School
It's hard to find celebs like Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas. You know, stars that are mucho talented, way cute, and actually enjoy giving back to their community and fans.
And their latest? The Jonas Brothers teamed up with Office Max and surprised a public elementary school in Los Angeles this morning for an impromptu concert! How sweet is that?
"The biggest payoff was the kids faces. It was priceless," says our insider Amanda, a project manager at Los Feliz Charter School for the Arts. "I thought some of the students were going to pass out!"
"It was amazing, the boys were great. I've never met people so selfless. They were so interested in the school," continued A. about all three bros. "We are very grateful to them and Office Max. Our teachers each got $1,000 worth of school supplies too."
The head of Office Max came out earlier this morning to handout school supplies and said there were "a few friends" on hand to help out.
"That's when the music started and The Jonas Brothers came around the corner and started playing 'L.A. Baby,'" perky Amanda dishes. "It was good! The students went wild with excitement."
Nick, Joe, and Kevin did a meet-and-greet with a few lucky fans, "happily" taking pics and signing autographs before they asked for a tour of the school to learn what it was really about.
Are your Jo Bro hearts breaking of cuteness yet?
"They were so nice and genuinely interested in the school," Amanda says. "We have a very different type of school and they took the time to talk to the principal, Ms. Newlin, and ask her questions. They truly wanted to learn what our school was about. It was very sweet."
Needless to say many of the kids were smitten at the sight of the heartthrobs.
"It was hard to get the students back on task after," laughed Amanda.
We can only imagine!
This morning Joe Jonas Tweeted:
"Starting the day off surprising some kids w OfficeMax gifting them some school supples. Feels good to give back"
Is Joe Jonas Working With Tom Hanks On TV Show?
Joe Jonas is well on his way to becoming a Hollywood heavyweight. It seems he's booked another gig, and this one seems super-high profile and top secret. But, we do know it involves the one and only Tom Hanks.
"That day you spotted me, I saw the photo [of me leaving the recording studio]. I was actually doing something with Tom Hanks that day. A little bit of a different studio something," he explained to one of Ryan Seacrest's reporters. "He's working on a new TV show, so you'll see that pretty soon, and he asked me to be a part of it."
Stay tuned for more details on the Tom Hanks project, but for now, we have more "90210" updates! MTV has found out that Joe, who is currently taking a break from the road before he and his brothers take their act international, will be on the "90210" set this Wednesday. His episode, in which he will play himself, as well as a magazine party date for Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes), will air in November. We'll admit, we can't wait!
Of course with all this going on, it might be easy to forget that Joe and the brothers also have their own show, "JONAS L.A." So, should fans expect a season 3? "We're keeping it open until people let us know," he teased in the Seacrest interview. "We've got lots of other stuff going for us right now, but we'll keep you guys updated."

Jonas Brothers play in softball tour to promote driver safety
LONG BEACH - The stands rang with deafening shrieks when boy band heartthrobs the Jonas Brothers each went up to bat in Blair Field on Sunday.
"Why does he have to be so cute?" sighed 15-year-old Lauren Harting of San Diego as she caught a glimpse of Nick Jonas in his blue and white uniform. "He's just so ... I don't know!"
Hundreds of screaming young girls flocked to Cal State Long Beach's Blair Field near Wilson High School to see music sensations Joe, 21; Kevin, 22; and Nick, 18, play softball with their team the Road Dogs. The game against the Marquis Jet Flyers was part of the brothers' 12-city softball tour this year in support of Allstate insurance's "X the TXT" campaign to educate teens about the dangers of texting while driving. Long Beach was the last stop on the trip.
More than 1,200 free tickets to the game were given away in less two hours on Wednesday to lucky fans who lined up outside the Cal State Long Beach box office.
Decked out in Jonas Brothers T-shirts and holding up signs saying, "I love you Joe!" and "Nick, we have the same birthday!" fans screamed as Nick Jonas hit a ground ball and pulled in safe on first. They booed as the Marquis pitcher caught Kevin Jonas' fly ball.
It was a volume the likes of which Blair Field has probably never seen, said Cal State Long Beach PA announcer Dan Smith, who was working the game that day.
"I've never seen anything like this," Smith said, with a chuckle. "One guy scores a home run but the screams are 10 times louder for Nick Jonas, and he's only going up to bat." During the game, more than a thousand fans joined the brothers in pledging not to text while driving by adding their thumbprint to a banner.
The brothers said they chose to support the campaign to help raise awareness.
"Even if you're not old enough to drive, you can spread the message to your friends and family," Joe Jonas said. "We want everyone to be safe on the roads."
The New Jersey trio have been playing softball with their team over the last few years, but this year they decided to "take it to the next level" by practicing regularly, said Kevin Jonas, who plays pitcher.
All the practicing must have paid off. The Road Dogs won 15-7 on Sunday, pulling in the win for the season and delighting their fans.
"I just think they're amazing. I could watch them all day," said Audricq Mirzaiecq, 15, who was also going the Jonas Brothers concert Sunday night at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine.
The game even brought out excited moms like Debbie Anderson of Santa Clarita, who came with her 16-year-old daughter Hailey.
"This is bonding time for us," said Anderson, carrying a Jonas Brothers tote bag. "I know Nick is going to be my future son-in-law."
Adrianna Falls for Joe Jonas
Joe Jonas is adding another TV series to his rapidly expanding acting resume.
The Camp Rock star, who last month guested on Hot in Cleveland as Valerie Bertinelli’s son, will play himself in a November episode of 90210, sources confirm to me exclusively.
Jonas will be Adrianna’s (Jessica Lowndes) date to a magazine cover party (she’s the one on the cover). Natch, he’ll give the wannabe pop star some good advice on being in the music biz. Didn’t you hear? Career guidance is the new foreplay!
This raises the question: Why is Jonas and not Navid escorting Adrianna to the big bash? Go ahead and ponder that question in the comments section, why don’t you.

'X the TXT' comes from right source: Jonas Brothers
By Joyce King
I'm not a fan of the Jonas Brothers' music, but I am a fan of what they did Sunday and why they played in a softball game at a place I pass nearly every day — the Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.
To millions of teenage girls, the Jonas Brothers are talented, cute and will make softball more fun. To parents like me, who have a hard time getting through to their kids, the musicians' "X the TXT" campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of teen texting and driving is a godsend. Teens need to know that nearly 6,000 deaths a year are linked to distracted behavior. A National Safety Council study blames texting and talking on cellphones for 28% of the 1.4 million accidents annually.
Still, there is nothing like hearing this information from one of their own. Thousands of Jonas fans will get the chance to take an oath to not text and add their thumbprints to a traveling banner showcased on the national tour, which has hit about 25 cities, with three to go.
According to a study by the Pew Internet & American Life Project, adults drive and talk on their cellphones more than teens: 61% of adults compared with 43% of all 16- and 17-year-olds. This might explain the surge in new laws that restrict or ban the use of cellphones while driving.
Thirty states and Washington, D.C., have laws banning some form of text messaging for drivers of all ages. Eleven of these laws were enacted just this year. Federal legislation also has been proposed that would require states to collect crash data related to distracted driving in order to qualify for federal funds.
Every day when I hit the roads in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I encounter drivers of all ages with heads down or gadgets positioned on steering wheels. Not everyone has bought into the Bluetooth concept of hands-free talking. I've seen drivers who are talking or texting and nearly colliding with motorists — like me.
But I am sometimes guilty, too. As hard as I try to limit my cellphone use to "emergency only" calls, the temptation to answer when I hear my ringtone (the Rolling Stones' Beast of Burden) is almost too great to ignore. Parents need to set an example, but of the more than 2,200 Pew study participants, 47% of adults admit texting and driving compared with 34% of teens.
My 17-year-old and I may not listen to the same music, but we do have to drive the same roads. I'm glad the Jonas Brothers are reaching out to our kids. Now, if only someone would set us adults straight.

Jonas Brothers Honored By Make A Wish Foundation
Tuesday was definitely a big day for the Jonas Brothers. Joe made a visit to the hospital where he was born and made a donation to the nursery which is named after him.
Also, along with brothers Kevin and Nick, the trio were honored as the 2010 Make A Wish Foundation Chris Greicius Award recipients. The honorees for the award are selected for their exceptional dedication to the Foundation’s mission by helping grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
The Chris Greicius Celebrity Award is named in honor of the 7-year-old boy whose wish to be a police officer inspired a group of caring volunteers to fulfill his dream in 1980 and later create the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The Jonas Brothers join other celebrities like John Travolta, Tony Hawk, *NSYNC, Garth Brooks, Johnny Depp, and Adam Sandler as recipients of the award.
Congrats Kevin, Joe, and Nick!
Jonas Brothers' final jam? No way, says Joe, on eve of local show
Stevie Wonder is as friendly and down-to-earth as any pop-music legend around, but performing with him at the 2009 Grammy Awards was intimidating for the Jonas Brothers.
“We were pretty nervous,” acknowledged Joe Jonas, 21, who performs in San Diego on Thursday (sans the iconic Wonder) with his siblings Nick, 17, and Kevin, 22, at Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre.
“We were definitely scared, but having the audience stand up because we were on stage with Stevie Wonder was pretty cool. We love his music, and we grew up on it. Our parents played his music from the time we were very young.” (Click here to see the video.)
Not everyone welcomed this unusual musical pairing on the Grammys, which was designed to draw younger viewers. Or, as Tom DeLonge of blink-182 quipped on the telecast: “Isn’t it great to see the Jonas Brothers and Stevie Wonder back together again?”

Singer Nick Jonas was the spokesman for the "Give Back, Simply Win" contest sponsored by Bayer Health, open to young people with diabetes who do charity work. Risha Shukla of Irvine won $5,000 for her work with Kids Who Care Club, which creates care packages for hospitalized children. Jonas will present Shukla with her award this weekend.
Casa Grande Regional Medical Center Names Nursery After Joe Jonas
Tuesday was a very special day for the Jonas Brothers. The Casa Grande Regional Medical Center in Arizona named their nursery after Joe Jonas. This is the same hospital where Joe was born.
Joe was also on hand to donate $10,000 to the hospital on behalf of Change for the Children, enabling the hospital to buy equipment and update its newborn nursery. During the dedication ceremony, the nursery was officially dubbed the Joe Jonas Nursery.
“I’ve never had anything like this named after me,” Jonas told a crowd of about 50 people who gathered for a ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony at the hospital.
Jonas was born at the hospital on Aug. 15, 1989, weighing 8 pounds, 5 ounces. According to TrivValley Central, among those in attendance at Tuesday’s event was the delivery room nurse who attended in Jonas’ birth, Deborah Hoeft (formerly Browning).
“We are so excited to dedicate our nursery to Joe Jonas because we want to inspire our small-town community to know that their children can accomplish wonderful dreams,” said Rona Curphy, president and CEO of CGRMC.
“We consider ourselves family here at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center, and it is nice that one of our family members has come back to lend his name to our facility,” she said. “Joe Jonas is the perfect example of dream, believe and succeed.”
Congratulations Joe!
Joe Jonas Donates to Casa Grande Regional Medical Center
On September 14, 2010, Casa Grande Regional Medical Center (CGRMC) welcomed Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers to a dedication ceremony for "The Joe Jonas Nursery." Joe was born at CGRMC on August 15, 1989. He turned 21 this past August so the dedication was both in recognition of his birthday and his accomplishments. In honor of the nursery, Joe and his mother Denise presented a check in the amount of $10,000 to purchase bassinettes and monitoring equipment for the hospital.

History of the Jonas Bros. in S.A.
Saturday's AT&T Center concert will be the Jonas Brothers' fifth in San Antonio. A look at the other four:
June 21, 2007 The brothers kicked off the summer concert series at Six Flags Fiesta Texas just before the mania was to begin in earnest when, after being dropped by Sony and signing with Hollywood Records, their second album, "The Jonas Brothers," debuted at No. 5 in August. The Weekender concert listing described them as "a trio of teenage New Jersey brothers whose 2006 debut, 'It's About Time,' sparked comparisons with Hanson."
Nov. 12, 2007 The group made a two-pronged return, opening for the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus show at the AT&T Center and appearing at a preshow, in-studio appearance at KXXM-FM (Mix 96.1). The five-song, unplugged promotional concert for 80 contest winners was as much a screamfest as the big show that night. "It was insane," program director Tony Travatto said.
Feb. 12, 2008 Nothing says San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo like a visit from the teen idols. The brothers played on the rotating stage in the rodeo ring for a sold-out throng of 16,000.
Aug. 13, 2009 Back at the AT&T Center but without bull-riding and mutton-busting for an opening act, the Jonases unveiled an in-the-round setup for 17,000 screaming fans, mostly 'tween and teen girls and their moms. And some 500 fans got to run with Joe Jonas at a charity 5K fun run that morning.

Staying active is very important to me as I manage my diabetes. Doing shows every night is a workout in itself, but this tour we have an additional tour element Road Dogs games. The Road Dogs have 12 games scheduled during this leg of the tour. Our team consists of our band, management, security, our tour manager and a bunch of other people.
Kevin pitches and currently has a batting average of .333 with 3 RBI’s, Joe plays right and center field with a batting average of .353 with 2 RBI’s and I am Team Captain and play 3rd base with a .470 batting average with 4 RBI’s and 1 home run.
Playing the different teams from Marquis Jet and ESPN has been a challenge, and we haven’t always won but I feel strongly that the Road Dogs will come out on top with a winning season.
Making sure I eat right is one of the keys to having enough energy for the game and the show each night. By testing my levels with my CONTOUR USB Monitor it allows me to make the necessary adjustments without slowing me down.
We had the Camp Rock 2 premiere in New York this month which was a lot of fun; don’t miss its premiere on the Disney Channel September 3rd.
Finally, thank you to everyone who entered the “Give Back. Simply Win Contest” choosing the winners was not easy and I look forward to meeting them soon. To everyone who entered, keep doing all the amazing things I’m reading about. You are truly inspiring.
My Simple Win this month: Giving my body the right foods so I can play for my team and perform for the fans all.

Jonas Bros., Lovato help in beach clean-up
ST. PETERSBURG - Nick and Kevin Jonas, Demi Lovato and other Disney Channel stars from "Camp Rock 2" were picking up cigarette butts, beer bottles and other items of trash from a shoreline near the Skyway Bridge today.
"It's amazing to walk through a beach and see trash when it's so simple not to throw it down," says Kevin Jonas. "If everyone went to the beach and enjoyed their time there and picked up one bag of trash it would make a big difference."
The Disney stars, who were in Tampa for a Wednesday night concert, lead about 20 young volunteers in a one-hour clean-up that netted 20 burlap bags of garbage and one rusty automobile tail pipe.
The media event was designed to call attention to the importance of keeping the world's waterways, shorelines and beaches clean, says Vikki Spruill, president of the Washington, D.C.–based Ocean Conservancy.
The conservancy has teamed up with Disney's kid environmental project, Friends for Change: Project Green, to promote International Coastal Cleanup Day on Sept. 25.
"On that day, around the globe, we will have 500,000 people out cleaning up coastlines just like what we are doing here today," Spruill said. "This is our kick-off event. What makes this project special is that we pass out data cards and all the volunteers write down what they found to track just what is being thrown down."
Attending the Skyway clean-up was 11-year Olivia Bouler, a talented wildlife artist from New York who has achieved national attention for her conservation efforts.
Also taking part in the clean-up from "Camp Rock 2" were Alyson Stoner, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Jordan Francis and Matthew "Mdot" Finley.
The 20 kid volunteers were recruited by Disney in Orlando. The event was videotaped by a Disney film crew for a 2-minute video report that will air on the Disney Channel soon.
Lovato said her family has gone green.
"We went from not recycling at all and using up tons of plastic bottled water to replacing the bottled water with filtered water and totally recycling," she said.
Stoner said "my friends call me the 'clean-up lady' because no matter where I see trash I will pick it up. Because it does hurt to see people not taking care of the planet. It's our job to preserve and protect it."
Lovato and Perez de Tagle said they wanted to take part in this because if their fans see that they are passionate about the planet, it will inspire other young people to be passionate, too.
Kevin Jonas said it's important that "no matter who you are you need to get outside and try to make a difference."

Joe Jonas Broke His Promise To God: The Purity Ring Is Off!
As Joe Jonas’ romance with Twilight star Ashley Greene heats up, everyone is noticing his infamous purity ring is nowhere to be seen!
Before Justin Bieber, screaming tweens and moms alike were flocking to the Jonas Brothers for their infectious pop rock music and squeaky clean image. Going hand in hand with their famous faces were their promises to God to wait until marriage to have sex. Oldest bro, Kevin Jonas, managed to keep that promise and so famously remarked after doing the deed, “To be honest about it, sex was not worth the wait. After we did it, I was kind of like, that’s it?”But from recent reports, it doesn’t look as though 21-year-old middle bro, Joe Jonas, is following through on his promise! As his love life has heated up with a string of gorgeous girls: Taylor Swift, Camilla Belle and Camp Rock 2 costar Demi Lovato, Joe has gotten the reputation as a ladies man and it seems his ring no longer belongs in his new world…especially with 23-year-old Ashley Greene on his arm.
The hot new couple has been spotted all over the world this summer kissing, canoodling and hanging out between Jonas concert dates and Ashley’s shooting schedule for her movie LOL with Miley Cyrus. It sounds like things are getting serious between the two as Life&Style’s Scene Queens report from their source, “When they’re not traveling, they’re basically living together.”

Spotted: The Jonas Brothers Break A Sweat For Charity In Florida
On Monday (September 6), most people took the day off to catch the last of the summer sunshine or stockpile some much-needed rest before the school year really kicks into gear. But not the Jonas Brothers (or at least Joe and Nick), who hosted the Joe Jonas iWin 5k Fun Run/Walk on the campus of Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. The run was a fundraising benefit for Special Olympics Florida, and the people who gathered the most donations got some extra-special benefits, including the opportunity to start the run with Joe and a pair of premier seats to the band's concert tonight (September 7) at the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach.

Jonas Brothers: An Embarrassing Dating Moment!
Popstar! Magazine & PopstarOnline.com get the JoBros to talk about a classic embarrassing moment while on a date!
Jonas Brothers close American Music Fest with a bang
It only took one Jonas brother to inspire screaming at a beachside concert earlier this summer in Daytona Beach.
And he wasn’t even singing.
So it’s not surprising that the decibel level reached jet-engine range at times on Sunday when Kevin Jonas returned with his brothers to actually do some singing at the Ocean Center. The concert was the final event in the American Music Festival, which also included shows by Tony Bennett Buddy Guy and others.
It’s safe to say that none of them sparked the reaction of the Jonas Brothers. On Sunday, Kevin, Joe and Nick justified that adulation with a well-paced 75 minutes that emphasized the songs, not pop-star spectacle.
It opened with a bang, of course, to compete with all that screaming. An opening salvo that included the rousing “Year 3000” and “Play My Music” was splashy and loud, suffering a bit from a sound mix that was less hospitable than the one Usher enjoyed on Friday in the same building.
(Looking around that cozy building, by the way, it’s worth reporting that there were roughly half a dozen sections in the bowl with plenty of empty seats.)
The Jonas guys were preceded by a 45-minute set by Demi Lovato, another pop star off the Disney assembly line. Her catchy songs were powered by a 7-piece band that complemented Lovato’s heavily caffeinated style.
“Are you guys ready to party?” she exclaimed in her introduction of the song of the same name. All of her conversation seemingly comes equipped with multiple exclamation points.
By comparison, the Jonas Brothers showed more range, shifting from the bigger pop songs into engaging acoustic interludes that showcased the brotherly harmonies on “Please Be Mine” and other ballads. Aside from three big video screens and pretty lighting, there were no flashy production touches.
When Nick took over for a brief moment in the vocal spotlight, songs such as “Who I Am” showed that Team Jonas is capable of moving out of the pop formula.
But why?
Exuberant such as “S.O.S.” and the closing “Burnin’ Up” are fun.
And that’s still something worth shouting about.

Jonas Brothers set 11,500 hearts aflutter in Montreal
MONTREAL - "YOU GOT US GOING CRAZY" read one of the many handmade posters being held up at the Bell Centre, in hopes of catching the eye of one of the Jonas Brothers.
Ain't that the truth. The measure of any good teen-pop band is the volume and shrillness of the screams of its fans - and the Bros. had both from the get-go to the very end of the show Saturday night, as they took the stage at the Bell Centre before 11,500 mostly female fans.
It had been almost exactly a year since their last visit, when they came through in support of their 2009 album Lines, Vines and Trying Times, and played to a crowd nearly double the size (21,000).
They had an excuse for the hasty return - the premiere of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam Friday night on the Disney Channel. Not that they needed excuses.
The venue was a sea of cellphones and Glow Sticks as the boys emerged to fireworks for Feelin' Alive. The party took off with Hold On, which had everyone on their feet, dancing and singing along as Kevin, Nick and Joe stood side by side, belting out the peppy tune.
They added a colourful video for Year 3000, featuring cartoon images of the boys in a spaceship, zooming between buildings, bubbles and rainbows, with a shower of CDs raining down near song's end. Add to that bouncing stiltwakers, with the crowd jumping and clapping in time, and it seemed as if the vibe couldn't get any giddier.
Wrong.
"How many of you watched Camp Rock 2 last night?" asked Nick. "So many people watched - 8 million people. Thank you. Here's a song from that movie. It's called Heart and Soul."
They brought out a crew of six vivacious female and two male dancers. With bandmembers coming up from the background (where they lingered most of the night, leaving the spotlight to the Bros.) to shimmy around with the band, it became a real song and dance, complete with a cast huddle at the end of the number.
Opener Demi Lovato (who co-stars in the Camp Rock series) joined Joe for This Is Me and I Wouldn't Change a Thing, belting out her lines with impressive gusto.
Song after song, the Jonas Brothers delivered their spirited, squeaky-clean brand of pop-rock. Even Paranoid, one of the edgier songs from their latest album, couldn't dampen the fun, as Joe engaged fans in a game of call-and-response..
"How many of you saw Paul McCartney in this venue a couple of weeks ago?" Nick asked, introducing a cover of the Beatles' Drive My Car. Though surprisingly inspired, it garnered the most tepid response of the night.
The boys may toss in such tributes to satisfy their own musical ambition, but it was obvious that their rabid fans were there for one reason only: to see the dreamy Jonas Brothers in concert.
And they didn't disappoint. Heartstring-tugging ballad Please Be Mine and head-bobbing ditty Lovebug (cue confetti) brought us to the encore, which had the rousing S.O.S. and flames- and on-screen fireworks-enhanced Burnin' Up.
The night ended as it began, with a Bell Centre full of screaming fans.
