"We're getting geared up for our 2010 summer tour and I'm going to show you the backstage area and a little bit of my style of our crib backstage," says Jonas Brother Joe Jonas as he takes Billboard's cameras, and you, on an intimate tour of the band's live set up direct from Tinley Park, Ill. where the tour kicks off tonight (Aug. 7).
With their new musical "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" coming to the Disney Channel next month and a soundtrack set for release on Tuesday (Aug. 10), the Jonas Brothers are set to begin a massive tour alongside Demi Lovato and other "Camp Rock" castmates. Joe's exclusive backstage guided look at the tour before it kicks off tonight (Aug. 7) at the First Midwest Bank Ampitheatre in Tinley Park, Ill. included a trip into his dressing room to show off his candles and video games, a peek at the guys' wardrobe (Kevin is the clothes horse, he says) and the tour's blue unicorn mascot, plus a scooter-bike race with Kevin, and a spin around the stage and soundboard.
"Camp Rock 2" premieres on Sept. 3, and the trek supporting the film will wrap up on Nov. 9 after reaching three continents over the fall.
